Hi, it’s fine to eat when hungry, but try to avoid long periods of not eating because you don’t want to over consume in the evening. You have trained your body to be hungry at certain times. Try to retrain it to balance your calorie intake a little better throughout the day. A small breakfast is fine. Then try to have at least two more healthful snack-meals before night-time to stave off excess hunger.

Is it okay to eat honey? I eat it a lot, because I try to avoid sweets like candies, chocolate, cakes..?
September 15th, 2009 - 01:59
Hi, it’s o.k. in moderation like any other sweet. Honey is healthy for you, but it contains as much sugar grams per teaspoon as pure granulated sugar, actually a bit more. It’s best to eat it sparingly like as spread on bread or in tea and baked goods, etc..

i love to make over easy eggs for breakfast when else can be made to start the day right?
October 19th, 2009 - 00:41
Hi, have a some fruit with your eggs and perhaps something whole grain, like whole wheat bread or cereal with milk. Enjoy a glass of orange juice or milk too.

i also use special k breakfast cereal…..is that okayy??? i get the strwberry kindd. is that alright to do????
November 22nd, 2009 - 03:00
Hi, special K is fine as it is lower in sugar, but there are cereals that offer you more fiber. Perhaps you can sprinkle a little wheat germ in it and have some fresh fruit on the side or perhaps in the cereal. A higher fiber cereal will help keep you feeling fuller longer. However, if you really like it, just add a bit more fiber to your overall meal. You can have a few nuts for extra protein as well.

@miley5353435353 No cereal is ok.
Also eating oats is not realistic for average people to get hooked on. Especailly when kids are in the house.
The problem is the diet industry is controlled by people with fast metabolisms and have never really lost weight.
December 10th, 2009 - 13:54
Kids eat what you tell them to eat.
Oatmeal is good food and can be prepared even as pancakes to make practically everyone enjoy it.
The diet industry is not controlled by people with fast metabolisms.
They only have learned how to finally do something about their body and practice what they preach.
Lose weight and your metabolism will be faster too.
:)

“The diet industry is not controlled by people with fast metabolisms. ”
Yes it is. Most of people who have never lost weight and don’t have a love for food.
Cereal is bad for you.
Oats taste bad and are not realistic for people who want to eat good tasting food and lose weight. Only people who are impartial to food taste will eat oats.
Mixing oats in Pancake and brownies doesn’t do anything. The pancakes are still bad for you.
They are all were born skinny with high energy..
December 10th, 2009 - 18:54
Yeah, right.
Bet you’r frustrated with how your body looks and it’s cause on the diet/food industry as well…
Amazing how some people seem to keep failing at lving healthy, finding an enemy that keeps the fat alway’s seem to be easier than have the guts and eat healthy for 30 days.
And there are a lot of fitness professionals who were overweight, finally took action , saw the results and are know passionate enough to teach others.

“Amazing how some people seem to keep failing at lving healthy”
Not everyone is born with high energy levels. Normal people are not. People are born with all types of different genetics and taste buds. It’s the 1 in 1000 people that will cheerlead and post videos about how ‘you can do it’ and ‘just eat oats like me’.
I have lost 90lbs.
Have you?
Didn’t think so.
So why are you more qualified to speak about dieting than me?
Because you were born skinny and with high energy levels?
December 10th, 2009 - 20:41
I mean no, ANY kind of cereal is NOT ok. The cereal that is good for you, you will not eat and it’s not really cereal. (i mean.. like.. you might eat it for 2 weeks until you can’t take it anymore).
You need to learn to skip breakfast, or have a low calorie muffin with your morning coffee. No breakfast meals. No cereal at all. No bars. Prfereably just coffee, teas instead of breakfast would be best
But that’s if you want to be serious about losing weight.
December 11th, 2009 - 23:07
Hey how much did you pay for those Brazil Nuts?
December 12th, 2009 - 23:24
Probably $5-$6 at Trader Joes.
December 13th, 2009 - 00:51
Thanks
February 6th, 2010 - 16:31
I always add ground flax seed to my oats along with raw honey and almonds. :) Maybe some cranberrys..
February 14th, 2010 - 17:11
this is so genius. I eat this hot cereal every morning after seeing this video and i don’t eat anything until 1 in the afternoon if i eat at 9 o clock. I stay energized and full! thank you:-)

June 9th, 2010 - 00:41
This is such an awesome idea and so well put together.I am having this kind of breakfast from now on.It makes so much sense.I’ll make sure to treat myself with an egg white omelet with veggies every once in a while. That would be ok ,,right?

I love oats!I eat oats and I mix them with cinnamon and dried coconut powder.Do you think it is ok to mix these ingredients like that,or should I quit using the coconut powder?
August 23rd, 2010 - 00:29
Hi, I love oats too and cinnamon is great for you. I am really not familiar with coconut powder though, sorry.
