Yoga Pose for Sacrum Adjustment
SelfAdjustingTechnique.com Get your free copy of Back Pain Secrets at the link (click the free book link), or go to http I have Anthony again showing us a yoga stretch that can be used to adjust the sacrum. The sacrum can go out in two different directions, this adjustment helps the most common one. It wouldn't hurt either way though, just avoid doing anything that causes physical pain, and you'll be alright. Disclaimer: This page is for educational purposes only. Could you say a little more about this technique. Especially the mechanics of it. Which side of the sacrum is adjusted? My sacrum feels slightly rotated CCW with respect to my hips and it is the right side that is painful. Are you supposed to do this on both sides? Thanks

I had been experiencing numbness down my inner right thigh. My physical therapists began pointing me toward a possible sacrum alignment issue. However, he was unable to adjust it. I looked up videos and came upon this one. I did as instructed and my sacrum, specifically on the left side shifted and made a deep sounding thump/pop. I felt immediate relief and have repeated many times over now. I no longer have leg pain. Thank you!

yeah why would you only do one side your body is a mirror image of itself- think thats fairly obvious
this is yoga so dont go to full stretch til you have had some practice first and you can handle the techniques you wouldnt run a marathon before you could run a mile, would you?

It is hard to understand what the sacrum is and how the move affects it… but bringing the one leg back, it stretches the hip flexor right? Does that stabilize the pelvis so that the spine moves over top of it?
