Will prenatal vitamins make you more fertile?

I want to take prenatal vitamins to make my hair and nails grow faster but I don't want to make myself more fertile - I REALLY don 't want to gt pregnant. Will they make me more fertile?

  1. Well it won’t make you "more" fertile. But since vitamins are good for you ((of course)) the health of your body, including reproductive organs will be much better. That doesn’t make you "more" fertile that normal. It just means that there will be less problems preventing it from happening. Also, your baby would have a much lower chance of getting birth defects. If you don’t want to get pregnant, then I suggest you take birth control or use condoms.

  2. Not exactly. Hormones are what make you fertile – however, taking your vitamins, eating well, and exercising properly can help make your body a more hospitable place for a baby to be conceived and grow in.

So long as you are diligent about protection, you are likely to be fine.
