Why do we require little vitamins daily?
Your body makes NAD+ and FAD from two B vitamins, niacin and riboflavin. You need only tiny amounts of these vitamins. The recommended dietary allowance for niacin is 20 mg daily and for riboflavin, 1.7mg. These amoundts are thousands of times less than the amount of glucose your body needs each day to fuel its energy needs. How many NAD+ and FAD molecules are needed for the breakdown of each glucose molecule? Why do you think you daily requirement for these substances is so small?

you need 10 NAD+’s and 2 FAD’s per glucose molecule.
The reason there are trace amounts of these vitamins is because respiration is facilitated by reusable enzymes, of which the vitamins themselves supplement, not primarily control.
hope that helps :)

Another money making business. They are required, but if you’re eating all the healthy foods, there’s no need to take vitamin supplements.
My parents never took vitamins, nor did they ever took medications prescribed by their doctors, they lived over 90 years until they died of old age.
They get all their vitamins & minerals, from their fresh fruits & vegetables and they eat all the healthy food, not processed.
