Which children's multi-vitamin with iron is a good one that has the LEAST amount of…?
...'sugar' or 'sweetner'? One that
would be considered more 'natural'? Where would be a good place to look locally? I am in San Diego, CA. Is there a good website that you get yours from to order online? That isn't too expensive? I need the 'chewable' type. What do you give your children?
I don't really want to give my 4 yr old the 'store' ones such as 'Flintstones' or similar due to the 'candy' equivalents.
I used to get "Poly-Visol" up until recently when the doctor said she doesn't need the floride any more (they were prescription) and before that she had the drops.
Any help is welcome.

I am so impressed with these vitamins. I’ve been looking for a long time to for my two boys.
IsaKids® Essentials is more complete than the leading national brand, with a flavor that kids love. No artificial colors or flavors, and an all-natural base of fruits and vegetables lets parents and doctors love IsaKids® Essentials, too.
For every bottle sold, Isagenix will donate 50 cents to support the Childhelp® National Child Abuse Hotline.
(taken from their website)
It’s sweetened with Xylitol, a natural sweetner that’s been shown to help prevent cavities and ear infections. Also Sorbitol, a natural sweetener from stone fruits. It also contains Fruit and Veggie extracts like Cranberry, Alfalpha, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Spinach and Tomato and Carrot. I’ve used these for a couple of months now and am impressed. My kids love them and have been able to fight off colds much better (I feel) than before. I love them too, but I have my own multi! It’s only $14.95 for a 60 count bottle and it’s all natural! (don’t by retail ($19.95), buy it wholesale)
Also, this particular vitamin is endorsed by many medical doctors, I love that too. If you go to the website and click on the Ingredients link at the bottom, you can read the actual label. I compared it to my bottle and it’s the same.
Hope that Helps.
Smiles,
Kim

first off, does you child actually need the iron? too many kids are being overdosed on iron. my 3-1/2yr old has never had a vitamin supplement in her life and the doctor said her iron levels are almost too high – strictly diet.
otherwise, IF i were to start her on one, i’d go with something along these lines: http://www.earthturns.com/Natural-Childrens-Vitamins-s/32.htm

My local health food store recommended these. They are a multi vitamin with minerals, including iron. We have problems with anemia in my family, and it is sometimes tricky to find a combination pill. The kids liked these, but they aren’t too sweet. They don’t have fun shapes, just circles, and are chewable. If you google them you will find tons of places that sell them for a good price. Amazon even has them. Here is one example site with more info: http://www.smartbomb.com/slr4796.html
Hope these work for you.
