Whats the best acne wash (from your experiences)?
I have REALLY acne prone skin. I wash it every morning and night so it's pretty tamed, but I still break out a whole bunch. I used that clean & clear morning burst stuff with vitamin c in it, and that dried out my skin but still left me with acne. Now I'm trying "Skin perfecting face wash" by clearasil, and it's a lot less harsh but I feel like my face is more oily now...HELP! What face washes have you used that work?

Firstly, I would suggest that you stop bouncing around from product to product. You really need to just find one and stick with it, and usually you see better results that way. From my experience, I’ve used the Clinique: Acne Solutions line for about a year now, and it honestly works really well. I still have the odd pimple here and there, but my skin looks heaps better than it did 2 years ago. I would suggest getting a whole line of things for your skin tone from one brand(if you go to the clinique website, it has a quiz that’ll tell you what products are good for you) – cleanser, toner, and some sort of lotion/benzoyl cream… I also mixed in the (cheaper!) AcneFree skincare line that I picked up at Costco, and switching between the two products seems to be working well for me. Hope I helped, and remember – stick to the product your using for a while, coz you’re never going to see immediate results! :) Clearasil is also good, when you just need a quick, clean feeling.
P.S. I think anyone with acne prone skin should try not to give in and buy any skin care product just because they have a new commercial or it’s the "latest & greatest". Also, the cheap drugstore products rarely have good results from my experience. I would advise that someone invest in a nicer line of skin care – it might be more expensive, but it’s definitely worth having nice skin over a few extra dollars.

I think the Neutrogena Acne Wash is one of the best washes out there. It’s always in magazines and I know many girls who use it. Why don’t you give it a try? If not, try something from H20 or C.O Bigelow, their stuff is always amazing.

You have probably confused your skin really badly & that is causing the break outs. You need to balance out your moisture & hydration. Even oily skin needs hydration. Almost anything from the drug store is honestly, crap. If you want great skin, you need to invest a little money. I promise it will be worth it!
Exuviance is a great line of products that aren’t super expensive. A cleanser is about $18. & it lasts a really long time.
It is late & I have early appointments & I need to go to bed. If you will e-mail me, I will help you get your skin sorted out to solve the problems.
Night!

acne free…they have it at cvs and harmon and stuff…it worked better than proactive for me..try it out they had little sample bottles at harmon for a few bucks and they last like a week or so…this way you can see if it works before you waste your money on it :)

i used Natio Young and it worked for a while, but only a little bit. if you have mild to moderate acne you should just see your doctor and ask for topical clindamycin. It’s trade name is clindatech.
it really helps without drying skin.
if your acne is hormonal then no cleanser will clear up skin.
