What was the most successful thing you've done or heard to help make your hair grow faster?

Yea, I stupidly chopped all my long hair off over a year and a half ago and its still not past my shoulders :( My hair just wont grow. Ive started taking biotin supplements a week ago and idk how long that will take to start working. My hair dresser reccomended it. Also, whenever I get my hair cut they chop off more than has grown despite me saying "trim" it. So what has worked the best for you, prenatal vitamins? Biotin? a certain shampoo? more sleep? water?

Thank you guys!

  1. I use protein suppliments.

I went to see my mom’s hair dresser, and I asked her for half an inch off to an inch.. she cut off about four inches. I felt like she took a chainsaw to my hair and violated it lol.

Anyway since then I don’t get my hair cut, I just cut the ends myself, and I have protein shakes twice a week. Also really helps my skin and my nails (plus tastes great if you add like, berries and stuff in a blender).
As you can see from my avatar my hair grew back pretty fast :) she cut it to my shoulders about five months ago.

  2. Tresemme conditioner. Its not that it makes it grow faster, but that it keeps the hair you do have in great condition so that you don’t have to keep trimming off the damaged ends.

  3. – putting your air in braids at night
    – main n’ tail shampoo/conditioner

  4. I know I might not help alot but I had to have patience.
    But I suggest extensions.
    Sorry if that was useless.

  5. I heard taking prenatal vitamens work, biotin is also good. I hate when hairdressers get scissor happy.

  6. i did that same thing and my hair wasn’t growing at all! so i started eating lost of apples and cutting off about not even a half and inch a month and its nice and long again :) i really hope this helps because it helped for me.
