What vitamins should i be taking everyday?


Im in the prosses of losing weight (beach season coming) but eating healthy is new to me and i have no idea what vitamins i should be taking on a daily basis. Also where should i go to get them. Last year i baught multi Vitamins at the Dollar store but i didnt feel like they were helping....

  1. A good quality multi-vitamin is plenty. Quality is key. I wouldnt buy vitamins from a dollar store. They are most likely very reduced quality, old, or seconds. (failed quality control).

  2. you should be getting vitamin A, B,C, D, and K.
    these are very important to get everyday

  3. One is vitamin D — we are learning so much more about it. You can get supplements, but the best way to get it is through your skin if you can (either outside or via tanning beds, which have been villainized, but we learn every day that the real skin-cancer culprit is vitamin D deficiency). If you can, get your vitamin D levels checked by your doctor to see how much more you probably need.

  4. The definition of "eating healthy" is that your food gives you all the nutrients you need. So if you are really eating healthy, you should not take any pills or supplements.
