What kind of vitamins should I be taking?
Well About a month or two ago I started an exercise routine and i've been able to stick with it but my problem is I rarely eat fruits or vegetables so is there a certain type of vitamin that would help out with that? My dad said just to get multi vitamins but i thought i'd get a second opinion

Multivitamins is a must. Even on a regular diet you get 80% of the required vitamins.
Vegetables and Fruits, especially the berries have an antioxydant activity which helps you feel active during endurance workouts. This might be substituted with vitamin C (but vitamin C’s long term usage will cause the development of kidney stone). So you may take it in cycles (Week 1: 1000mg everyday, Week 2: none, Week 3:1000 mg everyday, Week 4: none….)
You should also take CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) as it plays a major role in immunity.
Let’s not forget the essentiel amino-acids:
L-glutamine is an essentiel nutriment which plays a key role in repairing damaged muscle fibers (which is inevitable during workouts)
And if you’re goal is bulking up, then u should take whey protein shakes (before and after workouts)
Good luck!

Multivitamins are the best thing as they will cover what you are not eating. There are different types so when you go to buy some, ask for advice

I take a good multivitamin for women every day faithfully. And it has really supplemented my nutrition and my health. It has calcium in it which is crucial for women of my age (47). And it helps me with women’s stuff. If I were you, I’d get a good multivitamin from the vitamin store and take it everyday religiously with food. Get one for men. However, a multivitamin will not take the place of fruit and vegetables. You could go to a store where the produce section is particularly good and just try a couple of things to see if you like them and you probably would. Who doesn’t like fruits and vegetables? Give it a shot. Good Luck!!

I agree, a good multivitamin would do you good.
They make vitamins that provide the nutrients in fruits and vegetables, you can get them at GNC, but they are like $50 a month each, and in reality you can get most of the same benefits from a multivitamin. If you are working out a lot, then you might want to look into those GNC vitapaks for active men. It has a GREAT multivitamin in it as well as vitamins and herbs to help with energy and muscle building.

My husband takes it and I take the woman’s version, they are great.
Otherwise, a decent multivitamin would be all you would really need.
Good Luck!
