what kind of vitamins are good for iron?

I had an iron deficiancy before, and I feel like my iron is low again but I don't want to go back to the doctor yet. I'm feeling very tired, dark circles around my eyes, I'm pale, please help me figure out what is the best vitamin to take.

  1. The best iron supplement on the market is Nutrilite’s "Tri-Iron Folic". This provides a blend of iron, folic acid and vitamin C; a perfect combination for what you’re describing. If you’re not familiar with Nutrilite, they are the #1 manufacturer of supplements in the world. They grow all of their own crops organically and quality control check to the highest standards (quality and consistency are the biggest issues in the supplement industry). Their supplements are even approved for use by Olympic athletes. Although they are the best, they are a bit hard to find, as they primarily promote their products to top athletes rather than the general public. I have found a reliable source online at http://www.keylagohealth.com. They have been a great company to deal with.

Keep in mind that when supplementing iron you should also increase your amounts of folic acid and vitamin B-12. The "Tri-Iron Folic" has the correct amount of folic acid but you should make an effort to take in extra B-12. B-12 is water soluble so you don’t have to worry about taking in too much, unless you’re pregnant. B-12 provides a boost of energy to the body and is used widely in medical practices, especially with treating anemia. It is found naturally in liver, shellfish and milk products. XS brand energy drinks are a great source of B-12 as well. Supplements are also available. They are usually titled "B Complex".

    I hope this helps.

  2. You can get actual iron suplement tablets from Tesco that are great! (Or any decent Chemist).
Also vitamin B-12 and plenty of Protein foods.

  3. Vitamin B12 I take it everyday…that and my iron pill from my doctor.
