What kind of cream/lotion do you use for under your eyes?

My under eyes are very sensative and get irritated pretty easily with most products. I was wondering what you guys use as a cream/lotion to nurish your under eye area?

I need a good one to put on before applying my concealer, but can't seem to find any good ones! I plan on trying it out on my skin before I buy it too, just so I know it doesnt irriate me.

I would prefer something I can get some Sephora, as I go there every weekened :] I love that store.
Or like, Macys/Nordstroms.

Thank-you!

Oh, and what should you look for (ingredient/vitamin wise) in a good cream/lotion?

  1. You can’t get this at Sephora, Macy’s or Nordstrom, but I use Crabtree and Evelyn’s Day Cream. The formula has been improved in the last couple of years, but it originally started as the Swiss Skin Care Day Creme, and was used most often by the elderly. It’s irritant free- has chamomile and whipped mineral oil. It took years for me to find a moisturizer that didn’t irritate my really sensitive skin, and i have now been using this for 4 years. It’s amazing, and about $28 per pot.

  2. I just use vaseline.

  3. I use Neostrata eye cream. It cost $16 and works great.

  4. Clarins do a very nice under eye de-puffer or try Elizabeth Arden :)

  5. i would use oil of olay. or any kind of beauty lotion. you should look for one that is light and non-greasy. and won’t clog pores. they also diminishes the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

  6. Hello.
For eye creams, if you like Sephora, try these lines:
Dr Hauschka, Clinique, Clarins, Caudalie. They are very good lines.

And tap the eye cream on with your fourth (or ring finger) because it has the lightest touch, and the tapping will help with the puffiness. Use a light touch.

As for a good cream/lotion, try something that has vitamin A or C in it, because it has antioxidants.

If you have the money, try the new line by Stella McCartney. It should be at Sephora by now.
Caudalie, Dr. Hauschka, Philosophy, Oil of Olay, Aveeno, Shiseido and Lancome all have excellent face creams and lotions.

    =)

  7. Go to a macys and get precision from chanel

  8. I use Body Shop Vit C booster eye cream. It’s great and they have a huge range

  9. I prefer Mary Kay. It much less expensive than the department store brands, but just as great a quality….even better on most things. Mary Kay make a firming eye cream that I just love. I haven’t found anything really that I don’t like from Mary Kay. Besides when I buy that stuff from Mary Kay, it leaves me more money for clothes. If you would like to be put in touch with my beauty consultant, just send me an e-mail.

  11. ponds is pretty cool

  12. I use a Nutrogena SPF lotion. It works for me because i have dry and sensitive skin……………..

  13. have you tried a regular lotion?

  14. I use Philosophy’s Hope in a Tube. I also have sensitive skin, and it does not bother my skin. Also, a good tip that I learned from a Trish McEvoy makeup artist, is to not use under eye creams at night. I know this sounds crazy, but it works! That is what causes your eyes to look puffy in the morning. Just use the eye cream in the morning under your concealer, and you will love the results!

  15. Origins white tea eye syrum. for wrinkles, and bags

origins youthtopia for any kind of irritation

dior anything. just tell them what you said.

    and as a natural ingretient…

lemon and lime juice (cold) and just genlty rub it in above your cheek bone, DON’T GET INTO EYES!
