  1. Try Valerian Root and/or St John’s wort.

Homeopathic medicine can work as well. Best of Luck!

  2. veggies, fruits and exercise, walking helps a lot

  3. extascy and pcp

  4. Apna,
Supplements can help, and the ones you listed could do some good. Another person posted Valerian Root as well. Which can help with anxiety, BUT, it would also make you sleepy in larger doses. More isn’t always better with Valerian.

That said, anxiety and depression are not purely genetic and biological in nature. There is a cognitive and behavioral component as well. These two things can also be "inherited" from one’s parents. You see how they cope with life and as a child you mimic them. You hear them talk and react to life and you ingrain these things in your own cognitive processes. So know that whatever supplements you take will probably not be a "cure" for these things. In addition to them, you should consider working on changing how you think and feel and process the world around you and how you behave and react to life. One very good book I could recommend is "Mind over Mood" which is a workbook to help with this type of thing.

Think of it like this. If you are out of shape from eating junk food for years and years and decide one day to start taking vitamins and eating healthy, you won’t get into great shape. Yeah, you might lose weight, but until you start changing the way you think and live you won’t get that awesome body you want, right? But if you get yourself to the gym every day, do your cardio and weight lifting, etc. Pretty soon you will look amazing.
The mind is not much different than the body. Supplements will help you set the stage for change, but then you need to get up on that stage and do the work!

  5. i d’t no

  6. omega 3 is a good choice. i’ve been taking it too and it’s the only natural health supplement that i need to manage a lot of health problems like hypertension, severe dry eyes, and IBS. Imagine my delight when i found out that it could also alleviate signs of anxiety and depression.

    all the best,
