What is more effective?
Aloe vera gels bought in tubes (lily of the desert, fruit of the earth) or from the plant itself?
Those gels in tubes says they're 99% and therefore contains other chemicals and vitamins -as it says (if you could look on the ingredients part) \
But I am not sure about buying a plant itself.. what if the plants are prone to getting more bacteria? well, because it should be outside? And also, the plant maybe too harsh? and compared to the gel in tubes, they have other specific vitamins?
What do you think? And what will you prefer?
I am talking about face acne and scar problems..

I think the plant it self is better,The gels have alcohol in them(very drying) I don’t have a green thumb at all and I haven’t killed mine yet. needs minimal care,I just water mine 1 time per week.

I am very picky about what is in my body products and I use certified organic Lily of the desert aloe vera gel 1/2 tsp. (refrigerated) with 2 drops of tea tree essential oil in the morning for my acne and there are other things in the gel but just thickening agents. I have researched them and they aren’t chemicals just natural thickening agents. Perfectly safe.
Hope this helps!!!
