What is a good vitamin / food to eat right before you go to sleep? And why? 10 points best answer!?

I know most foods aren't good for you before sleep, but I've heard things like banana's help burn down acids. What kinds of vitamins / foods would be good to help burn calories and eat through acids during your slumber?
Lol! I never said I wanted to eat 7 bananas, just one. : ) Keep 'em coming folks!

  1. Well, bananas are really acidic, not alkaline. You should take Melatonin (supplement) & decaffeinated hot green tea and/or warm milk before bed. If you’re trying to lose weight the simplest thing is to avoid ALL white bread & cakes, cookies, donuts. Use only whole grain breads & what’s really good are whole wheat tortillas. Yogurt is an excellent choice as well, with many health benefits. Eat lean proteins & lots of vegetables, NO soda unless it’s sugar free, & no fried foods. Remember, carbohydrates are broken down to glycogen/glucose & while you’re sleeping it’s stored in your body as fat! Exercise like swimming, brisk walks or work out at the gym a minimum of 3x weekly & you’ll be in great shape!

  2. milk, and slow- fast digesting foods

    usually protein shakes

since they’re off a blend and have instant release, medium release and slow release they help keep your metabolism up.

vitamins, i usually take a complete vitamin + mineral pill (gnc brand) one in the am and one before bed.

  3. I heard calcium helps, and avoid sugar, caffeine, and anything that makes you excited..

  4. I wouldn’t recommend taking vitamins before bedtime. Try a glass of milk. Bananas are good too. Sometimes if I have a sweet tooth I’ll have one of those Jello Dark Chocolate Mousse cups. I believe they’re about 60 cals and super delish!

  5. if you want something to burn calories, then you won’t sleep cause your body will be active. there are many things that are supposedly best for you while sleeping but I don’t find that to be important. what you need to do is to eat healthy to prevent any heart disease or any other condition that is caused by a poor diet. I really wouldn’t worry about this one. if bananas help, then I’m wondering why do I feel sick today after I ate 7 bananas yesterday. I eat them everyday and they never cause issues.
