What happens if you have too much vitamin C?

Well my dad was supposed to pick up cough drops because i'm sick. And instead he got vitamin c drops, not thinking I ate 3 (over the course of the day) that's 400% of the daily vitamin C? Whats going to happen?

  1. Nothing. If you have excessive amounts of vitamin c the body just passes it out when you pee.

  2. you poop it out

    seriously

  3. The first sign of lethal poising is a headache. If you get that you better high-tail your a** to the Emergency Room honey.

  4. I believe too much Vitamin C might produce watery or loose bowel movements and possibly a lot of energy.

  5. fatigue, nausea, and insomnia. Some of the more serious side effects may include kidney stones, teeth erosion, and a blood clot in the legs.

  6. Nothing. Vitamin C is water-soluble and you pee out whatever your body doesn’t need. It is an acid, however, and may cause stomach irritation, so take it with food. I take 3,000 mg/day with no ill effects. The daily need for vitamin C is a lot more than the 30mg they tell you on the labels.

  7. absolutely nothing
it’ll just make its way out of your system

i take about 300% of the daily vitamin c everyday
i have a weak immune system

    don’t worry at all

  8. It loosens everything inside of you…. -embarrassed-
