Blood pressure is the measure of the pressure within the vessels first when the heart pumps then when it rests. The kidneys do not control this but if the pressure isn’t high enough the kidneys will not function properly. If glucose (sugar) levels are high the kidneys will work overtime to flush out the excess glucose. The brain isn’t really involved in either of these situations.

If it is too low, you will faint. You are usually thin.
If it is to high, you need drugs to control. You are usually over weight.
Salt in the diet means that you have water tension. Your kidneys can not cleared it.
That is why the doctor will give you water pills.

Your Kidneys control the amount of water in your body and the amount of some nutrients like the salts if you blood pressure is too low you kidneys will hold on to water & salt to raise the blood pressure if it is too high it will release extra water & salt to lower the blood pressure. If the condition last for too long it can cause damage to the kidneys & other organs like the heart & blood vessels. Doctors can put you on medication to help control blood pressure. But it is best to try to control it as much as you can yourself eat less salt & high salt foods. Lose weight & exercise regularly and stay well hydrated(drink lots of water) and don’t smoke (smoking increase blood pressure)
