What foods will build my iron level?

I am 8 months pregnant and my iron is low. The doctor gave me prenatal vitamins but my hands and feet keep going numb. I need to know what foods to buy to help build my iron level. I know about liver and brown swagger and I cant stand them. So please let me know.

  1. chicken livers and beef liver.
    beans

  2. Honestly anything grean. My recommandation: Broccoli, asperagus, celeri, black beans

  3. Like you say all livers are full of iron especially ox’s but if you are not keen on these then all of your very dark green vegetables such as spinach, cabbage, broccoli and sprouts have a high level of iron in them. I’m pretty sure that peanuts do as well but I do not think you can eat them whilst pregnant.

  4. Iron takes at least 6 months to restore … usually the doctor gives u a dosage amount of iron to take, and then tests your blood for the next 6 months to a year.

Foods that are high in iron are beef, and brussel sprouts.
