What does Vitamin C do for the body?
I have been drinking a lot of apple juice and I realized it has a lot of vitamin C. My question is what does vitamin C do for the body? How does it help you? And also how much vitamin C is too much? Thanks all of you for contributing.
Yeah please tell me also what amount is too much.

I think you need about 60 mg per day, I’m not sure, but it’s close to that. It’s an antioxydant, which your body uses to get rid of toxins in your body. It’s very good for your immune system, and can make you less prone to catch viruses, or your symptoms won’t be as strong or last long…
Since your body doesn’t stock it, you need to eat some everyday. If you smoke, you need more, because nicotine prevents your body from absorbing it or using it…I’m not exactly sure…but I know you should be taking 25 mg more then non smoking people.
SOme supplement are 500 mg and even 1000mg, you don’t need that much, your body will just get rid of the excess. Too much a good thing can be bad….
