What does it mean when your blood pressure is very low, extremely low?
My friend is in ICU right now, they cannot raise her blood pressure. It it bouncing from being very low 77 over 30 then back up in the 90's only for a few minutes while they are working on her. What can result from not being able to raise the blood pressure? Comma, stroke, other? Not sure. Also she is diabetic and normally her sugar levels are high but right now they are low.

She is in state of shoch most probably due to hypoglycemia. If not recovered she can enter any adverse condition like coma, renal impairment etc.

77/30 wow, that IS low.
If she is in CCU she is in good hands; myself, I never worked CCU.
BP is directly proportional to blood volume, meaning many times a transfusion is needed. But I’m a smart RN, & I won’t attempt to second guess CCU staff.
There are a lot of other factors that could cause , BP.
I wish her good luck, & may God be with you both.
