what does it mean when you have a low red blood count but your iron stores, B12 are both high?

My doctor is asking for more bloodwork as anemia is present, but the vitamin levels are all good. what could it mean?
The doc asked if i was getting enough deep sleep. also, last year i had bloodwork done for something unrelated and the same thing was noted. but there was no follow up, because I was believed to be sick at the time, so they assumed this was why

  1. Anemia is present.

  2. Diabetes causes reduced kidney function which causes the anemia. It is called nephropathy.

Keep your blood sugar in range the best you can.
Exercise will help you get deep sleep cycles that allow your kidneys to do their thing of detoxifying and regulating red blood cells.
