What Do you think about this diet?


My diet for the next 10 weeks:

Daily I will have:

Multivitamin containing < or > than200% of neccessary minerals and vitamins Folic Acid, Iron and vitamins A , E and B12 as supplements to the mulitvitamin.

84 ounces of Iced Water every day ( 12 ounces per hour for 7 hours)

I will use an eliptical for 1 hour at an ANEROBIC rate
I will lift light weights for arms one day , legs the next and back and chest the others alternating everyday.

I weigh 160 pounds I am 5'8" and would like to lose weight. My weight last year when I exercised heavilly was 120 so that is my goal.

I may start using a diet pill aid at the half way mark to aid in further weight loss.

What do you think about this ? Would you do it too?
I will eat one fruit for breakfast

Spinach and One hard boiled egg for lunch

One Slimfast for dinner
I currently eat frappucino for breakfast
burger for lunch
and a big carbo loading starchy dinner

  1. You’re going to starve yourself if that’s all you eat. Come on girl…you know how to eat healthy so do it. Don’t starve yourself.

    Eat at least 1200 calories per day…in fact, you’ll probably have to eat more b/c you’re doing weight-training and lots of cardio. Just eat so that you’re not hungry.

    Did you know that it’s possible to be bulimic and not throw up your food? Another "version" of bulimia is when people eat little then work out obsessively to burn it off. It’s not healthy at all!

    Your work-out routine looks great but if you don’t have any energy b/c of lack of food your workouts will not be efficient at all.

    Please eat more. Eat healthy and do your exercise plan. You’ll lose weight and look great.

    It doesn’t matter what you ate today or yesterday. Tomorrow, eat healthy. Don’t starve yourself. Like others have said, if you starve yourself your metabolism will slow b/c your body wants to burn what food you do eat as slowly as possible. It wants to retain what little nutrition you give it. Once you start eating again (and you WILL have to otherwise you will suffer serious health issues), it will take a long time for your metabolism to raise – especially if you’re over 25. You’ll gain it all back and more.

    Sorry if this sounds harsh, I’m just sick of people taking the lazy way out. The "quick" way to being skinny. It’s disgusting that they’d rather fit into a size 3 than be healthy. I hope you don’t subscribe to that way of thinking. <3

  3. after the heat of the moment wears off you will weigh about twice what you do now. Because your body will think it is starving and save every morshal that crosses your lips.
    Join weight watchers for a very good reason, diets don’t work.

You will need to eat a little more, at least 5 small meals, eating really scares people, but truthfully, if you eat small meals it boost up your metabolism, if you don’t eat it slows it down, eat alot of fruits and veggies, don’t diet, go on a low fat lifestyle, you do need some fat in your body, there is good fat such as polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, roasted peanuts, coconut, olive oil, but other than that sounds like a plain, Good Luck

  5. You can go a Little heavier for beak fast it is the most important meal of the day. Between breakfast and lunch snack a fruit or something else at lunch you need some meat for protein chicken, fish turkey another snack after lunch. You can drink your slim fast after that. Snacking it is important keep you metabolism running and you don’t starve to death.

  6. well, you will be hungry all the time. In the long term, you will gain more weight because your body will think it needs to store fat. So, that diet will not work out so well. Try eating a little of everything, even carbs. These will give you energy for your workouts, which i think are a good idea.

    here’s the problem – you greatly restrict your calories
    and your bod goes into starvation mode
    ** you will probably gain weight – as it thinks
    that food has left the planet earth

    a better plan – figure out what your current caloric intake should be (handy dandy calorie calculator provided – from a great and respected source)
    NOW deduct 15% of these calories – spread them out throught the day in 5 small meals and snacks (keeps the campfire burning)
    When you plateau out – recalculate your calories for that weight and deduct 15% again

    big hint – eat fruit 2 hours away from anything else

    (why jam your water into 7 hours?)
    rule of thumb for water = 1/2 oz per pound PLUS 8 oz for every 25 over weight

    remember the toroise and the hare – slow and steady wins the race
