ive been semi sick for 2 years with non stop slight nausea sometimes really bad sometimes not. been to doctors...they have no idea. im thinking i have some sort of deficiency. maybe vitamins or minerals. please tell me what a good type of vitamin would be to help this.
ive seen 5 doctors including 2 gastroenterologists. ive had a ct scan, a gastroscope, a barium x-ray and several blood tests. everything was negative. they gave up on me. granted ive gotten a lot better....my symptoms have never gone away

  1. Always look for a multivitamin that is a Time-Release supplement. Your body can only absorb the vitamins that it needs at that point, so any unused vitamins are simply lost / washed away when you visit the bathroom! You actually waste most of it!

The Time Release vitamins are specially formulated to digest must slower, making the vitamins available over a much longer time. Time Release vitamins It will normally say “time release” or “slow release” on the packaging.

Otherwise, look for vitamins that are FOOD BASED. Because the body has difficulty in recognising vitamins in an isolated state, as apposed to in food, the food-based vitamin supplements are much more readily absorbed. Also, food-based vitamin supplements will seldom indicate “slow release” or “time release” because the bio-availability of vitamins that are sold in a food state, is up to 16 times longer compared to that of isolated vitamins found in “normal” multi vitamin supplements.

  2. One -a-day vitamins are good!

  3. Centrum.. From A to Zinc :D

  4. Water soluble, the kind that are absorbed by water go through your body as fast as you drink water; it’s important to keep taking these either with supplements or fruits/vegetables.

Fat soluble, absorbed by fats, stay in your body longer, so only a chemical imbalance can keep these from being absorbed by your body.

Your best bet is taking more water soluble vitamins, like vitamin C.

  5. I hope you see a gastroenterologist and get an egd to correctly diagnose your problem. No one should have to live like that and this is definitely not a vitamin deficiency. Get better soon.If you insist on vitamins which we all should take, ask the pharmacist what he recommends. They have become so specialized and can be bought based on age and sex. I hope you find a reputable doctor.

  6. maybe its vitamins that are making me sick. if youve been trying them for two years take a break for a couple weeks and see if anyhting improves then keep trying doctor until you find one that can give you answers.

  7. I take a daily Nature’s Way multivitamin because it’s balanced. There are some vitamins that can be toxic to the body if you take too much of them, and others that have to be taken in correct proportions to other vitamins and minerals.

If you are feeling slight nausea, make sure you are taking your multivitamin after plenty of food, otherwise your nausea will be aggravated. I have had the "vitamin hurl" many a time after not having proper food in my stomach first!

    Best of luck to you!

  8. you really need to talk more with your doctor about this, they can do all sorts of blood tests to see nutritonaly or vitamin wise what you need. it also could possibly be an allergy to a food your eating, maybe wheat perhaps, alleriges come out in all sorts of form, and just plain nausea is one.. maybe even something as simple as water. your doctor can do more, check with an allergy specialist.. they can also do tests.

  9. vitamin a,b,c,d & e

  10. You can trace every sickness, disease and ailment to a mineral deficiency. Even if you take vitamins, it will not work without minerals. Try taking CMD (concentrated mineral drops)- it might correct problems in your body. Eat healthy foods, exercise regularly, think positively, get enough rest.
