Weight loss question…?
I have a 3 year old, and a 2 1/2 month old... I've been watching what I eat, I don't even eat much at all actually, doing light exercise, as much as I can anyway, I stay very busy with work, school, 2 kids... but the weight is just not coming off, I take green tea vitamins, drink water water water, nO cokes... I also had my thyroid removed and now have hypothyroidism...
Any tips?? Suggestions? Please no rude ones, it's already a touchy subject..

ask your doctor, and it may not seem like your eating alot, but it could be more than your supposed to, but your so used to eating alot more than you should, that it seems like nothing. but maybe not. and even if you dont eat much, it may be loaded with fat.

Well depending on how much you eat could be it. You said that you dont eat much at all actually. that could be your problem. if your body isnt getting enough ‘fuel’ during the day, its going to start storing fat-making it so you will not lose weight. Eat 5-6 small meals a day.

I’m sorry to hear about your situation. The thyroid removal puts you at a distinct disadvantage. I’m assuming however, that you have thyroxin medication to help out with that. Try sitting down and actually calculating how many calories a day you consume…and how much you burn based on your activity..there are a ton of websites for this. You’ll be surprised at how many calories there are in a little food…and how little calories are burned by exercise. My best advice to you is to reduce your portion size by about 20%. try that and see how it works for you. Good luck.
Cheers,
JP
Comment: I agree with haveing 5-6 small meals a day too. Remember, there are no gimmicks…you just have to eat less calories than you brun in a day…increase calories burned with activity or decrease calories consumed

my mom has the same thyroid problem. what could be your problem is that you actually need to eat more. you should eat at least 5 small meals a day. plenty of fruits and veggies less meat and grains. and a lite excise everyother day. like ride a bike for and hour. that helped my mom loose almost 20lbs in 2 weeks. no kidding.

If you don’t eat enough, your body starts hoarding the fat cells because it thinks that you’re starving it so it’ll try and keep all the energy for as long as possible. Eat 5-6 small meals a day and eat more than 1200 calories a day. Women should never dip below 1200 per day.

Now whenever it comes to weight loss you should follow these simple steps that have helped me tremendously lose weight, pretty quickly if you ask me. And I’ve been trying to lose weight forever and finally found the correct system to help me out…
The first thing you need to do is about 30 minutes of cardio everyday, try to get at least 3-4 days of that people…Exercising is one very important issue you don’t want to be lazy in.
The second thing you should realize is that you cannot eat everything in sight that probably got you looking the way you are right now or the reason you want to lose weight. The pounds come with the food you eat. How do you stop yourself from eating and get a little boost with ousting fat from the food you eat? Simple…
The third and final step is the correct natural weight loss supplement. For me, I found Proactol to be the best. Now this isn’t aimed towards lazy people that want to take a pill and sit on the couch all night and day. These are to tremendously help out with dieting and exercising. For me they were great because with my diet, they basically take out up to 28% of the fat you intake. Not to mention the killer appetite suppressant Proactol is. Every day you will fall under your calorie intake and find yourself one more day closer to your goal.
These steps really worked for me, you should try them out for yourself even if you want to lose very little or that extra mile. Also at the time of my 3 month supply purchase of Proactol, I saved a lot of money on it at theweightlossplace .com
Good luck and I hope this helps you out for your weight loss goals.
