Vitamins while not eating for a long period of time?

I am 17 and 5'2 and 91.3 pounds and am trying to lose weight. I haven't eaten in four days and am wondering if taking various vitamins would keep me from undergoing the side effects of malnutrition, such as hair loss, dizziness, heart problems, etc., whilenot gaining weight? I look gross and need to lose weight so will vitamins work on an empty stomach? Thanks!

  1. Eating fruits cuz vitamins are not dependable

  2. 1. You need to see a doctor if you feel that not eating is a good way to go in loosing weight. If you’re 5’2" and 91 pounds, you are at least at a healthy weight, if not a little bit under.
    2. No, eating is the only way you can avoid the effects of anorexia (which is what you’re doing).
    3. If you want to FEEL healthier, eat lots of fruits and veggies, and makes sure to get exercise. If you do too little of each, it will have the same effect on your health as if you did none.

  3. tablets only have a little fraction of the vitamins your suppose to have a day. and why are you starving yourself , you are severely underweight and i think you are suffering from an eating disorder. please get help before it’s too late to undo the damage being done.

  4. No matter how many tablets you shove down your throat, there is NO true substitution for food. What on EARTH is wrong with you? You obviously have a very serious eating disorder if you think THIS is the only way to go about losing weight. If you think you look ‘gross’ you should be EATING HEALTHY AND EXERCISING – that’s the only way to make your body slim and toned, and your skin and hair healthy and glowing. Starving yourself will do the complete opposite. Keep this up any longer and you’re going to look even more ‘gross’.

  5. You haven’t enough weight as it is, you need to put on some more weight.

Vitamins alone are not enough for you to be healthy and fit. Vitamins are a supplement to what your diet already is, and is an aid to the food you take already.

    Your not even seven stone.

  6. I’ll not lecture you about eating disorders and the danger of them, since this has already been done.
But I will point out this:
By not eating for too long, you’ll put your body in starvation mode. This means, it is afraid to die of starvation, and because of this slows down the burning of calories and tries to store every scrap of food in fat. This will continue also when you start eating again. So, in the end, you will gain a lot more weight than you have lost.

STOP NOW! Before it is too late and you ruin your life.

  7. It really all depends in the matter. Yes, vitamins might have side effects some are perfectly okay. You should either stick to your healthy food diet and exercise or just ask your about which times of vitamins are alright and which ones are not. You may need to take them with food, just healthy food, like a salad. Nothing sugary or sweeten or candy, nothing sweet, no sweets, or fattening, no fatting foods. Just stay away from all that junk and fatten foods and need healthy WITH vitamins like A, B, C, and D, because NOT eating at all can be unhealthy to a person and make them starve. Starving is never a good idea to lose weight. As long as they are save, no-side-effect, side-effects-free vitamins. As long as you have a good doctor, a smart doctor who knows the goods from the bads. Or just take healthy stuff without vitamins or just some simple exercises. Diet foods are a good example too. Like I said, it all depends.

  8. There are certain vitamins that help promote the growth of hair in the body. Changing to a healthier diet is vital not only for hair growth but also for the general well being of your body.

Some of the most important include:

    - Essential Fatty Acids

    - The B Vitamins

    - Antioxidants

    - Sulfur

    - Zinc

But vitamins and diet are only one part of it, you should also consider adding excercise and hair loss products into your hair growth solution.
