Is tanning oil bad for your skin?

I KNOW sitting out in the sun causes cancer and wrinkles. but your body NEEDS sun. sunlight has Vitamin D in it which helps your bones and teeth and growing process. So a little sun is healthy for you! you can't expect me to be a vampire my whole life!

Anyways, all lectures aside. I need to know if tanning oil is bad for your skin.. It's going to be in the 70s and sunny today, and I wanna get tan before it gets cold again.

Would putting tanning lotion on my skin be okay? will it cause a greater risk for cancer? or will it be fine? does it even work? how long should I stay out with it on my skin?

Where in the United States can I get magnesium Chloride and how much would it cost?

Is it by prescription?
Health food store?
Where and how fast can I get it?????

I know it's not in vitamin form at drug stores and convenient stores, just that Magnesium oxide, which has a poor absorption rate.

I live with Chronic back pain, TMJ, digestive pain, neck pain, fatigue, sore wrists, hurts to sit, stand, and lay down because different parts of my body ache. I have 11 points of chronic pain that have grown from 2 within the last months. I have not been pain free for 6 years, and I am only 23. And because I am a young woman who is not rich, I am not taken seriously by Dr.s.
Thanks everybody, and I found out by calling local pharmacies, CVS doesn't have it, but Walgreens in my area seems to, it's behind the counter, but OTC.

I need magnesium because my muscles don't release properly, tighten up, flare up, fill with lactic acid and are extremely painful.

Thank you for the idea that it can be absorbed transdermally, I did not know that :), but it is so much more expensive through that method.

I hope this information helps someone out on the net when they are Googling. Peace everyone!
Oh, it's called Slow-mag, and the other version is magnesium 64 . Magnesium Chloride ^

hair growth lotion?

this is not racist AT ALL i swear, but this is the only way i know how to ask it, my hair has been breaking alot lately and i cant find hair growth stuff anywhere, aside from vitamins, while at walmart today i found this stuff called profective megga growth lotion, and it was by stuff for weaves and relaxers, it was the only growth stuff though, is it really meant for people of color ONLY or anyone, cause it put it on my hair and it made it stringy and oily? also if anyone else has used it what do u think about it

Comparison shopping for over the counter medicine – who has the best retail prices?

When it comes to Vitamins, supplements, cold medicines, pain relievers, etc. where have you found the best prices? I don't want to shop online so I'm asking for your experiences with retail outlets.
Target? Walmart? grocery stores? Osco? Walgreens? Sam's club? other?
I realize that there will be variables across the country and for different medicines but I'd like to take a survey of what your experiences have been with pricing. If distance were not an issue - where would you shop for these items?

Vitamins for hair growth?

So i had pretty long hair at the beginning of summer and for some reason i decided to go for a cute bob. I liked it for a while but now its just driving me crazy, not being able to pull it all back, having to style it because of the cut its in, whatever. So of course i have heard prenatal vitamins are the way to go for faster growing hair. While i dont think it would be bad for me at all, why bother with them when there are other things that could do the same? So from walgreens I bought biotin, and got something free with it so i chose ginko. Then i decided to get floic acid and could get something free with this too so decided to just get prenatal vitamins. I have not yet started taking any of them and would just like to know peoples views on the topic and what they have experienced with these vitamins.

Vitamins: What brand is best; what store is best?

There are so many brands out there for vitamins. In making my decision for a good quality brand, where is the best place to buy them. I don't want filler ingredients in the vitamins. Vitamins I'm looking for are: (A,B,C,D,E; Calcium/Magnesium/maybe fish oils). For example, i wouldn't want to buy CVS, Target, Walgreens, brands. Also, what is the best men's vitamins? I want to get my husband a good multi.
