How can I get a retail store to carry a nutritional supplement that I designed and had manufactured?
Hi Everyone! I have really been thinking about making my own nutritional supplement. I have been an athlete my whole life and want to create something that is tailored to what myself and my teammates feel is important as far as supplements go. The problem is, while I have a company lined up to manufacture my product and I am working on getting incorporated, I have no idea how to get my product out to the market. I have never worked at a vitamin store or health food store (just retail clothing!) so I don't know what their process is as far as agreeing to carry some one's product. I really feel that its a great idea, but I am so nervous to go ahead with having it manufactured because I don't know how to approach the store owners or how I will get it out to the public. If anyone works for a vitamin or health food store and knows how the process works, I would really really appreciate any feedback you have and how I could get a store interested in carrying my product and would it be totally impossible to do that given all the huge brands that currently offer products through these stores. Is it legal for a business to raise the price of certain items for tourists in California?
Ok, i don't want to be a whistleblower but im just wondering, i work at a vitamin store and my boss gives tourguides 20% commision for whatever the tour(the group of people the tourguide brings in) buys. In addition, my boss raises the prices on certain items in order to make more profit. Is this legal? i am just wondering, to me this seems wrong but i am not sure.

I'm a 17 year old girl and I don't eat a lot of meat. I actually don't eat any red meat just chicken and occasionally sea food. I would like to take vitamins to make up for anything and everything I may be missing in my diet. I'm also trying to exercise and eat healthy. I've heard that its better when the pills are in capsules? any suggestions?

i went to a vitamin store yesterday and i seen a bottle (i cant remember what its called) that helps muscle growth. it seemed like a steroid because on the side it read (warning: do not take if you are competing in an athletic event. this product will give false info in urine test as if it was a steroid.) something like that. i think it was to increase testostorone. my question is because im interested does pills like this work and if not does anyone know any shake or pill that REALLY works?
