What's the difference between vitamin k and vitamin k1?
I read somewhere that vitamin k1 helps prevent heart valve calcification. Somewhere else said it was vitamin k2. In any case, I knew that vitamin k is not recommended for people who already have had a heart valve transplant. I was initially curious if K1 or K2 didn't have the same blood thickening effects as vitamin K. But, I see they are one of the same.
