Vitamin users, which brand is best?

Right now I have (I haven't started taking it) Mega Vita Min for teens, but I don't know if it's safe to use or not. I work out daily for about 1 1/2-2 hours for track and then about 5 hours snowboarding on Fridays. I don't have the best diet either, white rice every day.

I want a multivitamin that gives me all the vitamins/minerals I need in a day with my diet and excersize in mind. Should I take Mega Vita Min, or switch to something else? (Something hopefully not too expensive)

Does Magnesium absorb other vitamins?

I'm pregnant and taking Magnesium in addition to other vitamins and wonder if it absorbs my other vitamins thereby reducing nutrition? I take a prebiotic along with prenatal vitamins, DHA fish oil, a folic acid, B12 & Vita D3 both sublingual as well as a magnesium. Anyone know if taking this together interferes with absorption? Thanks!
Thanks for responding but FYI ...
Magnesium is needed to prevent miscarriage when there is too early contractions. You need more when pregnant, throwing up for months generally means you're deficient. Minerals can and do interact with many other meds. There's no info on it's interaction with vitamins because vitamins and minerals are not FDA regulated or studied. Thanks for taking the time to try to help though.
Yes, these supplements were recommended by my OB. After a late mid trimester miscarriage at 16 wks not due to chromosomal issues I was suggested these supplements by my OB. I am mostly vegetarian but eat some fish, hence the B12, D3 because I'm on bed rest and no sun exposure. The prenatal and DHA is highly recommended by all OB's. The magnesium however, may reduce uterine contractions and due to the previous miscarriage, it is suggested. It is given in hospitals when women show signs of premature labor, a possibility in my case. My concern is severe vomiting (3-5x's day) and not absorbing ANY nutrients. Hoping that at least these supplements offer something and prevent the reason for miscarriage before. It is thought my son's water broke due to placental abruption but it not known.

Which multivitamin is best?

I do track and anowboard, I also don't eat very healthy, white rice every day. What can I take that will keep me up to speed with my sports and bad diet?

Right now I have 'Mega Vita Min for teens'. I don't know if I should take it though, because it comes from one of those vitamin stores, and i've heard of people getting sick from taking vitamins from these stores where the sales clerk isn't very informed.

Please help-vitamins for women's health?

I just bought those one-a-day womens health vitamins with the orange label. it says theyre good for breast and bone health.

I'm only 20 yrs old, but it seemed like the only logical vita to get. Is it ok to be taking these at 20 yrs old?

Theyre not gonna give me any weird side effects, right? Also, do you take them with food. Chew them or swallow?

He is obsessed with herbs and vitamins. How to tell if he is nuts?

He spends at least 00 a year on vitamins and herbal remedies. There is no rhyme or reason to what he is taking, but he mixes about 30-45 different herbs together in a vita mixer, shoves them in capsules and takes 15 of them a day. This includes echinacea, diminia root, milk thistle, some kind of bilberry root or something, and I could go on and on and on.
Where do you think he got this crazy idea to take all this stuff every day. He thinks it is going to make him healthier and has it in his head if he doesnt take them, he doesnt feel well. I am afraid he is going to kill himself with herbs.
Do you think he is nuts or does he have some valid points taking thousands of dollars worth of herbs every year?

i need help with what to buy?

i want a cream that you can buy in local shops like superdrug and boots for a price that people can afford.. i coped this information to see if it would help get the best cream please help, 10 points for best answer

Check the labels. You want something that contains Vitamin K, kojic acid and licorice extract. Both are natural lighteners. Vitamin K heals damage and constricts the capillaries that are showing through the thin under you eye.

Look for a professional strength product. Dermal K Clarifying cream, for example, used to only be available through a dermatologist (see resources below).

Consider Vita-K Solution gel, Puritan's Pride Vitamin K cream or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue.

Compare prices and ingredients. Most Vitamin K products come in two ounce jars or tubes (see resources below).

Mix Vitamin K with a Vitamin A product. Apply a Vitamin A derivative such as retinol every other night. Scientists have found that combining the two is more effective at lightening dark

Ask your dermatologist for recommendations. She may be able to write you a prescription for a stronger Vitamin K cream.
