Is there a vitamin or supplement or whatever that is specifically to improve lung function?

I heard about one but I just can`t remember the name or if his suggestion is even valid at all. Please show me what`s available if anything. Thanx!

What are the best foods to eat when you have low blood pressure?

I have really low blood pressure. I got it checked out at the doctor's a little while ago because I would stand up at a normal pace and if I had ben sitting down for more than 5 minutes I'd get dizzy and lose my vision. I have an appointment for an echocardiologist to check this problem out (but it's in November), but in the mean time I would like to know if there are certain healthy foods I can eat to make my blood pressure a bit higher. Thanks!

Oh, and if you don't have a food suggestion, do you think it's kind of self destructive of me to actually kind of want to pass out so I can get an earlier date for my doctor visit? I just hate waiting until marching band season is over to get this done because I'm scared I'll pass out on the field during a show.

Fragile X and general fed back?

Although I have a lot of experience in caring after people with disabilities, Fragile X was a head water for learning. In participating with a study I managed and administered two kids with symptoms, studies showed folic acid improved the quality of life and reduced, if not pretty much eliminated behavioral charicteristics. Doctors are not likely to recommend vitamins, which is understandable, but Folic acid most certainly made a difference in the condition described. RDA is a very low and basic suggestion of what people need to be healthy, but vitamines and minerals do affect people in many ways. Getting nutrients in our diet is suggested as the best way, but when suppliments are needed and do have a desired affect I think they should be considered. I certainly am not suggesting a cure-all, but have seen first hand remarkable improvement by adding a suppliment that did improve the life of individuals. I heard nothing about the study other then what I have indicated. Input? Info?

MACA Extract OK to take?

I recently purchased some MACA Extract from the local vitamin store. At the suggestion of the sales rep, I bought the one he recommended for it's potency. After taking one dose, I read on the bottle "Especially for Men"... I am a FEMALE! Does anyone know if this will have any adverse affects? Should I not take them and buy another brand or will it be OK to continue to take? I know that it's a natural herb, but found it interested that it says "especially for men",,, Help, please.

Thanks!
