I just got my hair cut and my ends were so bad that I had to get alooot off and..?

I'm growing my hair out..I know to get hair cuts ever 4 to 6 weeks so don't tell me that. But my hair finally got pretty long now it feels sooo short cause it is :( I'm so sad about it. I'm going to give it conditioning treatments 2 times a week and buy nice shampoos and conditioners and still use heat protectant spray and gel. How can I get my hair to grow fast?!:( please help. I have prom may 8 and now I can't do much with my hair :( I want to try to start taking vitamins for it. Are prenatal okay to take if your on birth control? which vitamins worked good for you? Is there stuff I can do aside from that? Please answer all my questions, I'll be sure to choose a best answer!!

My hair is completely dead. How to I fix it to where it is long and pretty?

I have been straightening my hair for 5 years. I have VERY curly and frizzy hair, but its crazy kind, all over the place. I had blonde highlights done to it for 4 years, and last year I dyed it all brown so I could try saving it a little. But it hasnt grown at all by getting rid of blonde. I have been trying to wear it natural lately, and i cut down on straightening to only on weekends when I go out. I still see no progress in growth, it has been the same length for 3 years! Not lying either, it has not moved at all. I wear hair extensions some times, but I want to be able to wake up with long hair, not always have to clip in my extensions. PLEASE HELP.

idc how much it will cost me, i will save up
i just want healthy hair that will finally GROW!!

Also, are there any vitamins that actually help hair growth? or shampoos and conditioners. I dont want to buy a bunch to figure out which ones work and which ones dont.

A good hair care system?

Consume B vitamins and vitamins with biotin in them and Omega 3's. Do not bleach, perm or color your hair. Do not even use a blow drier or a hair straightener on it as this will dry out your hair and cause split ends.

Use only shampoos without harsh Sodium Laureth Sulfates in them, which pretty much all of them do unless you buy all natural from Aubrey Organics like I do. Even if you buy "organic" some synthetics can still be used so look for a shampoo that is 100 percent organic, they get my hair just as clean as shampoos with chemicals in them and you don't have to worry about the chemicals seeping into the skin of your scalp, which transdermal drug patches such as Nicorette have shown, the skin DOES absorb 60 percent of what we put on it. So therefore the skin does absorb the shampoo so it's like you're drinking benzalkonium chloride and other chems in shampoos. And then the chemicals are absorbed into your bloodstream and kidneys so...

Shampoos with keratin, biotin and amino acids are best. They will give your hair, which is made of protein, strength.

I like : Aubrey Organic's Swimmer's Shampoo (balances the PH of your scalp, which should be at 4.5 and if it's too dry you have dandruff and too oily it looks like crap, so this is a great PH balancer. Since most other shampoos and conditioners contain Cetyl Alcohol which just dries out your hair, this is a great buy.) Smells great and makes your hair so soft.

Aubrey Organics Lavendar and Primrose Scalp Soothing Shampoo (makes your scalp feel relieved after a day in the sun, like a spa for your scalp. Prevents scalp problems and as we all know, healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp.)

Aubrey Organics Rose Mosquetta Conditioner (can use on wet or dry hair! also as a deep conditioning overnight treatment. Pink, thick, luscious cream.) Hair needs moisture to prevent breakage.

For styling control, try Aubrey Organics B-5 Design Gel (.50). This gel is 100 percent chemical free and holds hair really well.

(Cost about for all three but WELL worth it if you want, long, shiny hair like Kourtney Kardashian.)

*Get regular trims too, this prevents split ends from migrating up the hair shaft and wreaking havock. Hair grows at the rate of 1/2 inch per month so getting it trimmed every 4-6 weeks would be ea good idea. If you want long hair just get 1/2 an inch trimmed off every time. That way you'll have old growth cut off and newer, more healthy growth coming out every month.

To still get some curls or wave and body in my hair without heat styling, burning and damaging it I use pink foam curlers and sleep in them overnight and wake up with sweet, bouncy curls and undamaged hair.

My hair is going to be great once I keep using this system and grow it out as long as possible. I'm lucky it's a great color too, a shiny chestnut brown.

Homemade, natural shampoo and conditioner?

My hair is a little frizz prone because it's wavy, but otherwise, it's normal (not too dry, not too oily)...and I don't want to use shampoos/conditioners with all those toxic ingredients any longer.

Does anyone know how to make shampoos and conditioners that will moisturize and cleanse, but made out of natural ingredients, such as avocado, etc., items preferably already found in my home or have easy access to get at a vitamin store? Links would be helpful and ANY information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and answer!
To legalize420: I don't understand your response. Could you explain?
