What vitamin combination is suppose to cure Fibromyalgia?
There are I believe 6 or 7 vitamin and or supplements that are suppose to cure fibromyalgia, Do you know what they are?
This is a condition that baffles Dr.'s and it is NOT as prior answered people just complaining. People need to do some homework before they start stating comments like the first one.
Freelance I sympathize with you, I have it also, along with osteoporosis and scoliosis. I take several med's for this but lately there has been news of vitamins and supplements that will just about cure it so you can return to a ((normal)) life. P.S. What will new doctor do about scoliosis back pain?
Have scoliosis, My back is hurting bad. Old doctor prescribed quite a few pain medications and darvocets to be the latest and they don't work. Now i got a new doctor and i was wondering if i tell him what my last doctor prescribed me and that they didn't work, will he prescribe something else? And what might it be?
Had to change doctors because i lost my medical insurance and now having to go to a regular doctor to treat my pain.
What are the requirements of being disable, due to chronic back pain?
I have been suffering from chronic back pain ever since I can remember. I also have scoliosis. I'm only 25 and I think that I am to young to have this kind of pain. I have been in 2 car accidents in my life, one when I was 15 and I was knocked unconsious and another when I was 19. Both I had very bad back pain. I have got MRI's done and everything . I constantly go to the doctors office. I even filed for disability, and have been denied. So is there anyone out there that recieves disability, and what were the requirements to get through a bad situation like mines.
What's the difference between chronic back pain and sciatica?
I have been experiencing strong and consistent back pain for as long as I can remember (I am 25 now). It starts with a little discomfort in my lower back, and about 20 minutes later, if I don't take pain medication, my joints will start to ache on one side (my hip, my knee, my ankle). X-rays show some minor scoliosis and a compressed disc (L4 and L5). So far, orthopedic surgeons are reluctant to do anything or even take me seriously because I'm "not old enough to be in a lot of pain."
My question is, could this be something more than a compressed disc? I've heard mention of sciatica but I have no idea what that is. I can usually catch it before it gets too bad, but it takes about 4 pills a day (Excedrin, Advil, etc) and I don't think that's a good long term answer.
And, one last question - what can I say to the doctor to get him to take me seriously?
What is the best way to relieve severe back pain that is related to Scoliosis with over the counter medicine?
Right now i am looking for any medicine or over the counter cocktail that I can take to relieve severe back-pain that is related to my Scoliosis? I like so many others do not have health insurance and do not want to go the illegal route. The weather here in KC makes it the pain unbearable and today I am just looking for anything. The ibuprofen that I am taking is barely doing anything? Any suggestions out there?
