What vitamins do I need to take while on the depo shot?
I just got my depo provera shot today and the doctor recommended to take vitamins. I don't know what the two vitamins are. She recommended taking calcium and something else. It was either potassium or magnesium? HELP?
Will taking prenatal vitamins while taking depo provera injections make the injection less effective?
My girlfriend gets depo-provera injections. She wants to take prenatal vitamins to stimulate hair growth. Will that make the birth control less effective, or are the progesterone levels still too high for the vitamins to make a difference? Basically what I'm asking is if I should start pulling out once she starts taking them. I don't want to ask her because I don't know if that is a stupid question, or seem selfish.

I am 21 years old when I started college at 17 I was 132 pounds, but this is more than the freshmen 15. I am now 181 pounds during my 4th year of college, the thing is I live so much more of a healthier lifestyle. I never worked out in high school, NEVER ate breakfast, we had off campus lunch so i ate fast food or processed food every day, and never did any physical activity and I was rail thin, im 5'8 by the way. Once I noticed the weight gain I tried everything I eat breakfast daily, i eat healthy for the most part, no fast food I work out at least 3 times a week most of the time more, my school just opened up a state of the art gym I do yoga, cardio, "butts and gutts" and weight training, i take vitamins im not a smoker and I have seen no results. I even tried a boot camp last summer I paid 0 did a meal plan and worked out with a personal trainer m-f for a month and didnt lost a pound, Ive actually gained 10 pounds since then, everyone else in the class saw results. Its so frustrating, when I wasnt working out and eating like crap i was thin, now I wake up at 7am and work out and do everything textbook to lose weight and the scale keeps rising! My theories. I was on depo provera but its been over a year since ive been off it with no weight loss and i was also on lexapro but again its been atleast a year since ive taken that medication and didnt see any weight loss after I got off the medication. Am i doing something wrong? What are some reasons why I just can't seem to lose weight? Could it be the medicine, if so how long does it take to get it out of your system? Any advice would be great ive serious spent so much money on gym memberships, personal trainers, diet books, green tea supplements all with no results I do know what to do..
Im on vitamin b shots and vitamins but my hair is still falling out why?
i am 27 and last feb my hair fell out in one big patch and still dont know why . i went to the doctor and they did blood tests and verified that i had a very low b count and very very low folic acid count. i have been taking weekly vitamin b injections with a daily vitamin b pill with a multivitamin every day. still my hair is falling out in huge clumps like its thinning out . if i miss monday without my shot i feel extremely weak and i cant function. once every three months i have a cyst that ruptures causing alot of pain and have to take darvocet for. i am on the depo provera shot for about 1 year now it never affected me before. i have had 3 children 8 , 7, and 4 . im not sure what else to do. i have taken the shot every week and my vitamins every day . but after a few days my kidney's start to hurt and i drink alot of water. i dont know what else it could be. i know i am stressed out alot and that can be part of the problem. any other suggestions?

Does anyone know any weight loss tips while you are on the shot (Depo Provera)? Vitamins or anything?
