I read on the bottle that it prevents prostate cancer or something. I just want to use it for my skin and hair. Can I take the pill or should i just open the capsules? Its 200 iu. The brand is Members Mark dietary supplement. Is it okay? I just drank a 500 mg vitamin c supplement too.will I be fine if I drank it? And what's the fuss about multi vitamins? Thanks.

Do multivitamins lead to diseases and such?

I was reading that multivitamins increase your chance of lung disease, prostate cancer - I usually take two vitamins (GNC) everyday; but after reading this article I may opt out. I just ran out of my multivitamin; should I go to the store and buy more?

I usually feel very healthy when I take them.

HPV and a relationship?

I have recently found out that I have HPV high. I am currently living with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years. I felt I had a beautiful life with him and tranquility. I was thinking of a future with him and possible children with him too. However, since this whole HPV thing I have been distant from him, depressed and crying during my times alone in the house thinking I am going to die. My pap smear is normal but my HPV test showed I have a high HPV. I go through moments where I am fine and next I am crying because I am scared I will lose my life to this virus. I have been taking Vitamin B- Complex and Folic Acid to help my immune system. I am frightened as if I have Cervical Caner. Probably because I lost my father to prostate cancer is probably why I am even more terrified. I am having problems dealing with this.

is there any problem, if someone at age 20 take one day mens' 50+ advantage?

i am just wondering if there is any side effects if someone at age 20 take one-a-day mens' 50+ advantage ..i know its made for 50 and above ..but i am just curious to know .here is the description comparison:

One-A-Day® Men's 50+ Advantage contains twice the Lycopene and five times the Selenium of Centrum® Silver® to support prostate health and it provides key nutrients to support heart health, eye health, and healthy blood pressure.* Plus, it contains Ginkgo to promote memory and concentration.*

i mean the extra vitamins are there to help those areas of health that i'm worried about anyway in the future (prostate cancer, vision getting worse, memory) so would there be any negative consequences?

on the othe rhand i find that if i don't eat pretty heavily before taking these, it upsets my stomach slightly.

Does anyone have this type of problem going to the bathroom?

Sometimes I urintate at least 14 times a day. I take vitamin E tablets, and I have been tested for prostate cancer and the results came back negative.
I have talked to at least three different doctors and they have tested me for diabetes, and the results all came back normal.
Sometime, I get wet before making it to the bathroom, and it is embarrasing when I go to work or into a store or public places with wet spots.
I take extra pants and underwear with me when I leave the house.
Has anyone else had this type of problem, and what have you done or take for precautions?

GNC Mega Men Sport Vitamin?

Hi everyone, this past weekend I went to GNC to pickup some Vitamin C Pills. While I was there the sales guy was telling me about the Mega Men daily multi vitamins. I told him I take Centrum Performance and I'm not interested at this time. The last couple nights I have been reading comparisons and reviews on Centrum and Mega Men. What I read is that most of the Centrum brands including the one I take has Iron as one of the supplements and that extra Iron in mens body can cause prostate cancer. So today after work I stopped in at a GMC Store and talked to a Sales Guy and was told that the Mega Men Sport would be the best for me, so I bought a bottle of it. Now that I got it home I was looking at the ingredients and notice it has Creatine in it. I'm kinda scared about taking it now do to long term side affects of Creatine. Some of the side affects I found is mood swings in young people I'm 23, and Kidney damage. So I'm just wondering what you guys think should I keep the product, or return it for the regular Mega Men that doesn't have Creatine, or just return it to get my money back and forget about GNC all together. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Ayurstate for Prostate Care (Part 2) – Benefits, How it Works, 250 Synergistic Activities

When you take Ayurstate capsules, you are costuming the highest concentration possible of 50 natural phytonutrients that exert 250 synergistic activities on your body to decrease the size of your prostate and reduce urethra inflammation by re-establishing healthy estrogen-testosterone balance, inhibiting conversion of testosterone to DHT, preventing protein deposits in prostate ducts, toning your bladder, and enhancing immune system response. It will improve your urine flow, semen production, and ejaculation control in a safe and natural manner with no side effects. Ayurstate re-establishes healthy estrogen-testosterone balance by supplying phytoestrogen compounds that mimic the action of estrogen. There is growing evidence that estrogens play a role in the etiology of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). This is based on the fact that BPH occurs when men have elevated estrogen levels and their prostate tissue exhibits increased sensitivity to estrogen. Excess estrogen also reduces testosterone production by saturating testosterone receptors in the hypothalamus. Phytoestrogens compete with natural estrogens for estrogen receptors on cells. By binding to the receptors, phytoestrogens prevent the negative impact of estrogen on your prostate and discourage excessive estrogen production. Ayurstate also inhibits an enzyme that converts testosterone to DHT (dihydrotestoterone) which binds to receptors in prostate cells and stimulates tissue growth around the urethra. This growth ...
