Does the pharmacy sell vitamins for people who are underweight?

I am a 25 year old woman who is trying to put on some weight (20 pounds at least) and I would like to know does the pharmacies sell any type of vitamins to help you gain weight? My doctor won't prescribe me anything to take because he doesn't feel that I am under weight but I am 5 foot 9 and 120 pounds.

What are medical reasons for having low Blood Pressure?

I have never had any problems with my Blood Pressure through out my life, and I'm 56.

I'm so tired all the time and my readings I do at home and store Pharmacies register on the average of 108/55 down to 95/54.

What is medically causing this and to top it off I'm Smoker!

Where in the United States can I get magnesium Chloride and how much would it cost?

Is it by prescription?
Health food store?
Where and how fast can I get it?????

I know it's not in vitamin form at drug stores and convenient stores, just that Magnesium oxide, which has a poor absorption rate.

I live with Chronic back pain, TMJ, digestive pain, neck pain, fatigue, sore wrists, hurts to sit, stand, and lay down because different parts of my body ache. I have 11 points of chronic pain that have grown from 2 within the last months. I have not been pain free for 6 years, and I am only 23. And because I am a young woman who is not rich, I am not taken seriously by Dr.s.
Thanks everybody, and I found out by calling local pharmacies, CVS doesn't have it, but Walgreens in my area seems to, it's behind the counter, but OTC.

I need magnesium because my muscles don't release properly, tighten up, flare up, fill with lactic acid and are extremely painful.

Thank you for the idea that it can be absorbed transdermally, I did not know that :), but it is so much more expensive through that method.

I hope this information helps someone out on the net when they are Googling. Peace everyone!
Oh, it's called Slow-mag, and the other version is magnesium 64 . Magnesium Chloride ^

Anyone tried Herbal Magic? Can you tell me what the "ingredients" are in the weight loss Supplements?

Im just curious what are in these supplements since Ive read they're over 50 a week for some, Which i think is nuts. BUt Im just curious. Im trying too figure out a good supplement to take to aid weight loss, with daily vitmanins and minerals Yes this may not be possible but there so many out there, Id like to research them, And even if I end up with just vitamins and minerals Id still like too see if there are any other natural herbs that Help. Plus im just curious about all these supplements since they charge ridiculous prices which Im sure can be found cheaper from no name brands at local pharmacies.

How much vitamin should i used per day?

Hi. I am an RP (retinitis pigmentosa) patient. It was said that Vitamin A Palmitate 15000IU could slow down the process of vision loss. In my country in all the pharmacies i checked, they have only 50000IU (which i guess was imported from India). Can anyone with some knowledge of this tel me whether 50000IU is an appropriate dosage of vitamin A. Or is it some difference in how it is measured?
