Am I taking too much vitamins? (Healthcare professionals and serious answers only please)?
Hi! I am a 28 (almost 29) year old female and I'm in great health. I exercise 5-6 days a week, almost for 2 hours daily, and I do quite a bit of weight training with my cardio. I am on protein supplements and I also take multivitamins daily. I am wondering if I'm overdoing it on vitamins. I know you can consume too much of certain vitamins, with the results being toxic, so I'm wondering how much is too much? Here is what I'm consuming daily just from the supplements (not including my healthy diet):
Vitamin A: 3750 IU (plus a little more from protein shake)
Vitamin C: 350mg (plus a little more from protein shake)
Vitamin D-3: 600
Vitamin E: 100 IU ( plus a little more from protein shake)
Thiamine: 25mg (plus a little more from ps)
Riboflavin: 12.5mg (+ a little more from ps)
Niacin: 47.5mg (+ a little more from ps)
Vitamin B-6: 25mg (+ a little more from ps)
Folic Acid: 1000 mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Vitamin B-12: 62.5 mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Biotin: (+ a little more from ps)
Pantothenic Acid: 125mg (+ a little more from ps)
Calcium: 1125mg (+ a little more from ps)
Iodine: 50mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Magnesium: 125mg (+ a little more from ps)
Zinc: 6.5mg (+ a little more from ps)
Selenium: 50mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Copper: 0.5mg (+ a little more from ps)
Manganese: 2.5mg (+ a little more from ps)
Chromium: 50mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Molybdenum: 25mcg (+ a little more from ps)
Potassium: 25mg
Everything extra on the protein shake said 20% DV except for the Vitamin C, which was 60% DV and Calcium which was 50% DV. So, those are added.
Can someone please tell me if I'm consuming too much of something or if I'm okay? And please give your source. Thank you!

Thank you to all of you! I appreciate all of your answers. The only one I don't understand is the one where there was a "BTW..." Saying that I blocked someone. Was that toward me? I haven't blocked anyone. Did I push a button on here or something accidentally? I never have blocked a person on here.

Can i take these Vitamins together in tablet form?
Saw Palmetto - which has Zinc,Nettle & Amino Acids included.
Vitamin B Complex
Vitamin C - Chewable form, 240mg a day
Omega oils 3,6 and 9 - tablet 1 a day
And the last tablet is a Skin, Hair and Nails tablet to keep them healthy, it has Vitamins D,E,C,Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin,B6,Folic Acid, B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Copper, Manganese, Selenium, Chromium, Iodine, Beta Carotene, L-Cysteine.
They are all taken daily, but the omega ones i take usually every other day...is this dangerous to my body?
I take them with Pomegranate Juice in the mornings with breakfast (porridge)
Thanks
Is it OK to take a Super B-Complex along with a Woman’s Multivitamin?
I take Nature Made Multi for Her. It has (among other things) 180mg C, 1.5 mg Thiamin, 1.7mg Riboflavin, 20mg Niacin, 2mg Vitamin B5, 600 mcg Folic Acid, 6mcg B12, 30 mcg Biotin, 10mg Pantothenic Acid.
The Super B-Complex has:
150mg Vitamin C, 100mg Thiamin, 20mg Riboflavin, 25 mg Niacin, 2mg B6, 400 mcg Folic Acid, 15 mcg B12, 30 mcg Biotin, 5.5 mg Pantothenic acid.
I also take extra C, Fish Oil, and a Cal/mag/zinc
I was told since I started birth control pill that I'd need extra B. I just don't want to take too much of something.
What should my Vitamin Routine be? (I have 5 different ones)?
So, here are my vitamins:
L-Arginine 500 mg
Kelp (Iodine) 150 mcg
Magnesium 250 mg
B-Complex:(which includes the following)
Vitamin C 500mg
B-1 100mg
B-2 100mg
Niacin 100mg
B-6 100mg
Folic Acid 400mcg
B-12 500mcg
Biotin 50mcg
Pantothenic Acid 100mg
Choline Bitartrate 50mg
Inositol 50mg
Citrus Bioflavonoids 50mg
Proprietary Blen 5mg
Also I have a B-12 1500mcg(should I take this if i am taking the B complex?)
When should I take these to be the most effective?
I know that some things will mix and cause the vitamins to be not as effective.
Currently I take theL-Arginine as follows -- two before supper and two before bed. (for the metabolisim effects)
Also I take the Kelp before bed.
I take the B-Complex in the morning.
I havent worked the magnesium in because im not sure when to take it
(I go to school so I cant take anything during lunch)
Nor have I started the B-12 because im not sure when to take it or even if i need it.
So, what would be the best routine for taking these effectivley?
can a b vitamin complex make you itchy?
I took a b vitamin complex last night and now i'm really itchy mainly on my arms and legs (ankles and knees). I know a deficiency in b vitamins can make you itchy but can it work the other way around? Here are the list of ingredients.
vitamin c,b1,b2,b3,b6,folic acid,b12,biotin,pantothenic acid
i'm not deficient in b vitamins, i took them to replace those lost by a night of drinking (yes i know drinking is bad for you) since i didn't have any gatorade.
