What vitamins are best taken together?

i'm in my late 30s, and on the heavy side. i've a slipped disc in the lumbo-sacral area and have osteoarthritis on both knees. my skin (esp. on the face) isn't as soft and radiant as well... i've been taking fern-c vitamins daily and evening primrose caps as well. been drinking skimmed milk also for about a month now, hoping it could help make my bones stronger. are they all safe taken together? what other vitamins can i safely take with them?
