Lip waxing/rewaxing burn?

I was waxing my upper lip last night when apparently I waxed the same spot twice (I was working in sections and must have overlapped them). It was not the result of the wax being too hot as this was not the first area I waxed. As a result, I have a burn on the corner of my mouth (not on my lips, but right beside them) that's fairly big and very noticeable (not to mention painful!).

What is the best thing to put on my burn? I don't have any aloe (I might have some of the bottled kind but not actual aloe) or Neosporin on hand (I do have Bactroban though). I have been using the Bactroban and Vitamin E oil but everything seems to be soaking in within about 20 minutes of application.

So, what is the best thing to put on my burn? How long will it take to heal (it's about 1/2 inch wide and 3/4 inches wide)? How long should I keep makeup off of it (I didn't put any makeup on the area today and I'm fine for the weekend, but once Monday rolls around and I go to work, if I can cover it up that would be great as it looks very bad!)?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Pt 1: “Level 2″ First Aid Kit Review by Nutnfancy

Part 1 of 5 //////////////////// My experiences in the outdoors led me to my Level 2 First Aid Kit concept. More capable in depth and breadth than my also-reviewed "Level 1" First Aid Kit, my Level 2 kit will weigh more and be bulkier but can better handle medium medical emergencies. The kit shown focuses on capabilities in ROL (Rule of Law) situations where the priority is to stabilize the patient and effect transport to better facilities and care (when necessary). In group or vehicular outings, the increased size and weight of a typical Level 2 is more do-able. Similar to the Level 1, this kit still has an emphasis on stemming blood loss, disinfecting, pain stoppage, wound dressing, and bandage exchange. Size and weight are still players in this 5 lb kit and I don't achieve the capabilities of Level 3 or Paramedic-level lifesaving kit. As I say in the vid, that type of kit requires medical training and its use comes with extra liability and concerns as a first responder. However I have the Level 2 kit shown has handled my encountered medical situations adequately and absolutely blows away any other kits I've encountered along this POU. Components of the kit and the foundational "Nutnfancy" philosophies involved are explained. An annotated list of my typical Level 2 Kit may be forthcoming (another project!). Compared to even a quality first aid kit, like ones from Adventure Medical Kits this version has more depth ie multiples of common use items which can better handle ...

Can you combine Vitamin E oil and Neosporin at the same time to get rid of scars?

I just had surgery a month ago that left me a scar on my leg. I'm trying to figure out which one is the best remedy: Vitamin E oil capsules or Neosporin? Or can I combine both? or any suggestions?

What is the best way to cover up a cut near the left side of my mouth?

I have been using Vitamin E and Neosporin on the cut and it seems to be helping. It's not a real deep cut, but it just looks bad, especially at work. I need a way to hide it or make it look halfway decent. Can I use the liquid bandage and then apply sometime of makeup over it to hide it while I'm at work?
