Okay so what can I do to get glowy skin?
So I bought a moisturizer from the Body Shop, the Vitamin E Illuminating cream, and yeah, it makes my skin look kind of glowy... So, I want a bit more... But I can't decide.. should I use Revlons Photoready foundation alone, or should I wear it with the matching translucent powder? Or should I wear the foundation with Benefits High Beam complexion luminizer... just applied in certain spots to highlight? Or should I mix in the High Beam stuff with my moisturizer to apply all over? I'm really pale by the way
Vitamin C & Caffeine are 2 PROVEN ingredients in beauty products… Will my own lotion do the same as purchased?
I can’t afford the high-end Vitamin C lotions that are supposed to help your skin and tighten the skin under your eyes… I know that most under eye creams that do any good at all contain caffeine…
If I take a pill of vitamin C and grind it up with half a caffeine pill (100mg) and mix that in a half a small shot glass of lotion such as Clean & Clear Dual Action Moisturizer… will it be anything like the extremely expensive Vitamin C and Caffeine laced products you buy in department stores?
I have learned that caffeine will make the lotion smell funny if you put it in the bottle and vitamin c evaporates so I would make up a new batch each time I used it to keep it fresh and potent.
I’m looking to firm up the under eye area and shrink pores made HUGE by the use of self tanning lotion that, apparently, doesn’t like me very much…
Thanks for ANY info you can provide!
My face is breaking out?
I'm breaking out right now, and I have a "thing" this Saturday, so I need to have a clear face.
I wash my face twice a day. I use warm water to open my pores and then I use cold water to close my pores. I take vitamins, and I only drink water. I also eat healthy for the most part too. My face wash/astringent/moisturizer are all alcohol and oil free. My moisturizer is fragrance-free and my face wash is noncomendogenic (I try to buy things that are good for my skin.) I wash my pillow cases every 1-2 weeks. And I plan to go out in the sun all week this week so my face will absorb some vitamin d and clear up a little.
I only have 3 pimples (but there big pimples.) So It's not like I'm trying to get rid of a face full of acne.
Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or anything else I need to be doing to make sure that my face is cleared up by saturday?
I also take birth control. I try my best to take it at the same time everyday because when I take it at different times I notice that it makes my face break out!
I really really really REALLY appreciate any answers!
Why does my foundation peel?
Okay so around this time of the year i get super dry skin, so i use truckloads of moisturizer and vitamin e oil. Recently, I started to use TruBlend makeup by covergirl, the liquid foundation. But, everytime I put it on, it's been peeling off! It'll look okay in the beginning, but then it'll start to flake and gather up near my nose and the sides of my face. What's wrong with this? Am I doing it wrong? And if the latter is so, what brand is truly the best for people like me? I have combination skin by the way.
7 lotions, don’t know what to do?
Okay, i have red cheeks they aren't that red, just rosey. But, i have 7 different lotions for my red cheeks and i don't know which one is the best to get rid of my redness. I will tell you the names of them and i want you to tell me which is the best lotion for my red cheeks, okay.
1.Jergens (with shea butter, skin riching Moisturizer, has antioxidants & vitamins)
2.Lac-Hydrin Five (moisturizing lotion, softens even your driest skin)
3.Cetaphil (not the spf one, moisturizing cream for dry, sensitive skin, fragrance free and non-comedogenic)
4.Perfect Purity (extra moisturizing skin lotion with vitamin e, helps soothe, dry skin and fragrance free)
5.Gold bond ultimate (softenting with shea butter, softens rough dry skin, has vitamins A, C & E)
6.Longs Advanced Formula (sensitive skin moisturizing lotion and fragrance free)
7. Albertson's Skin Lotion (dry, sensitive skin treatment and fragrance free)
OR, you can tell me one that isn't listed above, that would work too, so i can get rid of the ones that i don't need, thanks for all your help.
Well my family and i just had all of these in the bathroom, we had these for awhile but i didn't really use them for my cheeks just for my body. I don't have rosacea because the redness on my cheeks aren't that bad.
Also here is a link to show you how my cheeks are http://s284.photobucket.com/albums/ll40/chibirayray15/?action=view¤t=picsofmeh003-1.jpg&t=1218965664392

Will this make my skin really greasy?
I usually have normal skin and I've just been using a cleansing toning routine but yesterday I bought the Body Shops Vitamin E Illuminating Moisturizer, and I don't know if it gives me quite the long lasting glow I want... So I kind of want to buy Revlons Photoready Foundation... and then use Benefits High Beam highlighter on top but I don't know... the moisturizer made my face feel a little greasy and adding two other liquid makeup products doesn't sound good...
So the options are:
Mix Benefit High Beam in with my moisturizer and apply it like a foundation or
Wear the moisturizer, then foundation along with translucent powder or
Wear just the High Beam, and apply it as a highlighter, only in certain spots or
wear just translucent powder
or translucent powder with the high beam... What should I do?
The best way to apply moisturizer?
Okay so I bought the Body Shops Vitamin E Illuminating Moisturizer and I'm not sure if it gives me quite the glow I want, even though I'm applying so much that it makes my skin kind of greasy... but I'm wondering if I should apply it with a brush, or what method would make it look best and enhance the glow?
Should I mix a bit of liquid highlighter with illuminating moisturizer?
I bought the Body Shop Vitamin E Illuminating Moisturizer but I don't think I'm getting the glow I quite wanted... So I was wondering if I should buy Benefits High Beam highlighter (which is supposed to work really well) and mix a little bit in with my moisturizer and try it out? Or should I just stick with foundation and powder?
