Is there a natural vitamin substitute for normal drugs?

Ive given up using drugs like advil and midol and ect. because of past problems with them. Ive always heard that theres a certain mixture of vitamins and stuff that you can use that would help you the same way medicines do but naturally. Does anyone know a website or can give me some info on if thats true and if it is a list of what vitamin does what?

Can I use any oil when making lip gloss at home?

My daughter, in the 4th grade, is doing a science fair project on homemade lip gloss. (She's a girly girl!) I am unsure if I'll be able to find vitamin e oil, sunflower oil or coconut oil at our local stores. Would using olive oil or vegetable oil cause a bad mixture, taste or smell?
Thanks in advance for all the info!

Supplement mixture, any dangers, warnings, or suggestions for better methods?

First off, I'll start by saying that I have Vitiligo, so Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, and Folic Acid are a mixture I've been told can help the condition, my body has trouble absorbing them. Never the less, I started taking these supplements which I'll list with their dosages. My question is in several parts because I don't know much about supplements. First, the mixture I will describe below, is it in any way dangerous? Any warning(s) you might have for me? Secondly, I know B12 is as difficult vitamin to absorb, especially for someone who likely has a hard time absorbing it to begin with. Will taking a B12 lozenge work, or should I just jump right in and go for the shots? Thanks in advance for the help, and below is the list and dosages

1) Vitamin B12 Lozenge 1000 mcg (1 daily)
2) Lutein 6 mg (1 daily)
3) Folic Acid 800 mcg (2 daily)
4) Milk Thistle Extract 175 mg (2 daily)
5) Vitamin C Chewable 500 mg (2 daily)
6) Flax Seed Oil 1000 mg (2 daily)
7) Veggie Complete (2 daily) -no dosage given-
8) Fruit Complete (2 daily) -no dosage given-

Thanks!

I dyed my hair and now it's clumping out.. WHAT CAN I DO?

So i recently dyed my hair red but i got sick of it and after about 2 months decided to try taking it back to blonde.. it didn't really do anything, it made it somewhat lighter but it was still really brassy. So i got another kit about 2 weeks later and tried taking it a lighter shade... it still was very brassy/strawberry blonde. Everything was fine for the most part and i didn't shampoo that often and tried to condition it a ton because i knew it was unhealthy. Well then i just went on vacation (about a week after i dyed it again) and it was fine the whole time until i went to the pool and when i came back in and got a shower my hair kind of started smelling like i got a perm and when i started brushing it out after wards it just started coming out like A TON.. and now it hasn't stopped since. (which btw i didn't get my hair wet in the pool and it was a saltwater pool not chlorine.. im thinking maybe the mixture of the hairspray and texture spray i had in it from the day before mixed with the hot sun and did something)... Yesterday i bought and tired a "hair mayonnaise" that i found in the ethnic hair section but i assumed it would be good for my damaged hair. i don't really think it helped that much and now my hair's a weird texture.. So obviously i have definitely over processed my hair and i'm really scared bc so much is coming out, but what else can i do??? Vitamin pills, certain conditioning treatments (which if anyone knows a certain one that'd be great!!), homemade remedies??? ANYTHING would help!!!

Help with stretching my ears, is this okay?

Okay, last year I had my ears stretched to 8g. I stretched straight from a very loose 16g to 8g. Don't tell me how it was a bad idea, I know it was. Yes, it hurt, but I haven't gotten a blowout and it healed quite fine. A little while later, when I was cleaning my ear, I accidentally dropped my 8g jewelry down the sink. (I had a 8g spiral that I stretched with and worn.) So, I let my ears shrink back down to a even more loose 16g. I could easily fit 14g jewelry in, and a 12g taper would slide right through.

So, I bought this kit to start stretching my ears. I used the 14g taper, and it went right through, with no pain or discomfort at all. Then I put in the 12g taper. Again, it was fine. Then, the 10g taper, that was fine too, and then the 8g taper. I stopped there, because I didn't want to skip too many sizes. I had no blowout or pain at all. About 3 days after having my ear at 8g (I'm only doing my left ear right now,) I took it out to clean it. I was just playing around, and started to put the 6g taper in. I did it slowly, and told myself that if I felt any pain at all, I wouldn't put it through. But the 6g taper went through with not pain at all, and I do not have a blowout.

I clean my earlobes with 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt mixed with 1/4 cup of warm water. I take a q-tip and clean my jewelry with that mixture, and put a cotton ball in it and hold it to my ear to clean my earlobe.

I'm getting vitamin e oil to massage on my ear lobe soon so that stretching in the future won't be a problem.

Is this all okay?

Mixing glycolic acid with salicylic acid?

Hi, I am on a face program that I've had for about 4-5 months now. At first, my acne seemed to be clearing up, but now there's no difference. My face looks just as bad as it did before I started the treatment..if not worse. As a matter of fact, I did my face program that I bought from the dermatologist MADE special BY that particular dermatologist's office, and woke up this morning with yet ANOTHER "blemish". I just read this morning that you cannot use retinol, glycolic acid (aka AHA's), vitamin C, and benzoyl peroxide because it will cause inflammation to your face.

The routine that I bought from the dermatologist's office has an active ingredient of Salicylic acid 2% and inactive ingredient Glycolic acid 5%. I also have a every-night program to put retinol on my face. Is the mixture of Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid causing my face to break out? Also, is the retinol not doing any benefit, too?

Thank you for your help:)

Okay, Nate. So basically cut out the supplements, and go for the B12 shots.

Face Primer? Homemade?

I wanna make my own face primer, but I have an oily face with acne prone .

Is it okay if I use my own vegan makeup (base) and mix with 100% aloe vera ? I saw video , a woman did mixture with a lot of ingredients and I cant get it straight because everyone did differently. I wonder if it safer for me do only aloe vera, it is 100% , I also have E vitamin 100% , flaxseed oil (organic) ...

what is the best of homemade recipe (face primer) you can offer? Please no website link or video unless it is by someone has one same recipe. I mean same recipe, not different recipes from different next ppl on youtube. I like ehow, or dr advice as such! They are more proffesional than youtube , in my opinon.

Do you think I need tinted moizturer to apply after using primer? I just want extra moisture...I wanna make sure I don't look dry when I get old. Thank for advice!
what kind lotion? free of fragence, prabence, and everything like that?
wanna just let you know I have vegetable glyernic too. Is it safe to put in face primer? what about witch hazel?

Can I use raw shea butter as lotion?

which of these homemade faces masks do you think will work?

Lemon Mask (for dry skin)

Mix 2 egg yolks, 1 tsp. olive oil, and 1 tsp. lemon juice. Wash your face, spread on the mixture, leave on for 10 minutes, and then wash it off.

Honey for Best Facial

The best facial mask that i have found is honey. Use warm cloth to open pores, smear on honey, leave on 15 to 30 minutes, rinse off with warm water, and then use cold water to close pores. Use for 3 days in a row and then once a week. Sometimes I mix a little gound oatmeal with the honey, which makes a great mask.

Egg Yolk

The best homemade facial mask that I have used is a raw egg yolk. just apply the raw yolk to your face and neck for 30 minutes and rinse with cool water. Egg yolks are high in vitamin A. The mask is very effective in healing blemishes.

Egg Yolk and Honey
Just mix one egg yolk with a little honey and spread it on your face and neck. When it dries, rinse it off.
