Can synthroid raise or contribute to high blood pressure?
My mom is taking synthroid and provachol and all of a sudden her blood pressure went from low to high. I thought perhaps one of these medications contributed or caused it.
Has anyone developed an increased blood pressure from regular use of energy drinks?
I have been regularly drinking energy shots for the past several weeks. For the past two weeks, my blood pressure has been in the high range, with no cause by medications or otherwise.
Help drug interactions; can't find an informative site for these drugs.?
i have a friend who is planing to add these diet supplements to his daily intake.
>FOLIC ACID
>SELENIUM
however he's worried they might interact with his medications,
here are the med's he takes daily.
-TENORMIN.
-AMARYL.
-ASPIRIN.
-GAVISCON.<-occasionally,
as you might have guessed from the list, he has high blood pressure and diabetes.
he also has a mild cholesterol problem which he has under control thru his diet.
also if it helps he's 53 and has only an above average BMI,
I've been looking online for a while now, but so far i can't find a site that fully tells you about their interactions not just with other drugs but with vitamins and other diet supplements as well
i appreciate any sites or information i can get on the matter,
as for Mechelle here,
GOOD GOD girl give it a rest already!
how many thumbs down can you take in one day,=?
also i was wondering if GAVISCON is okay to take for a type2 diabetic,
as for mechelle i have this to say,
GOOD GOD girl give it a rest already!
how many thumbs down can you take in one day,=?
what vitamins and minerals aid detoxation?
I have taken some prescription medication which I am now withdrawing from and having difficulty sleeping.
Please tell what supplements I can take to help detox my body from the medications.
Also, any natural sleep aids I can buy to help me sleep better and overcome my withdrawal related sleep issues.
Thanks.
What is the best way to lower high blood pressure?
My husband has high blood pressure and been prescribed Crestor & Micardis. But, due to high costs, we are unable to afford his medications. What are YOUR food suggestions? Everyone always say "diet and exercise" and we know that. My husband does not have a problem with his weight. He's 38 years old, 165lbs., 5'7" tall. He's still muscular (somewhat) due to years of body building. His siblings (all under 45 years old) & parents are all under medication for high blood pressure & high cholesterol.
What can I do to get rid of lower back pain?
For a little over a week now I have had some lower back pain and it isn't going away. I've tried taking tylenol and medications like that but nothing seems to be helping. Any ideas that could help this back pain?
What causes blood pressure to fluctuate many times during the day from "high" to relatively "normal"?
I am 74 years old, mildly overweight, don't smoke or drink, eat extremely healthfully, get sufficient restful sleep, take no medications, am always busy reading, studying, etc. I know I have the "white coat syndrome" because my blood pressure goes over 180/95+ in the doctor's office, so I got a portable blood pressure machine that has a wrist cuff and take my pressure eight or ten times a day. It can be anywhere from 185/95 to 132/75 and is never ever constant. I have tried breathing exercises which seem helpful. I do not want to take any medicines. I tried going off caffeine and salt for a couple of weeks, but that doesn't matter---still fluctuates wildly. I would otherwise consider myself in very good health.
Stupid female question- wayy stressed, deffinately not pregnant, but late.?
Right..
well the title kind of explains it.
I started a new waitressing job about two months ago.. well a month and a half.
and now I'm about 6 days late. Which is NOT good, because my long distance relationship partner is coming to visit in like a week and a half, and I really REALLY don't want to be moody and all that.. gross stuff while he's here.
I am 10000000% positive I am not pregnant. Unless i'm the next immaculate conception.. but yeah..
It has to be stress..
is there anything I can do to well.. speed up the process, or at least get it going?
I have all the symptoms of pms- mood swings like no bodies business, cramps, sore breasts and extreme fatigue..
Gaah I'm so at a loss here.. idk what to do.
No I'm not on any kind of oral contraceptives.I'm actually non sexually active. I dont take any over the counter medications, or perscriptions, I take womens vitamins with folic acid and iron.
I was checked for possible thyroid problems about three months ago- no blood work.. the doctor just told me it was very highly unlikely.
but yeah
any sugguestions.. PLEASE?!
thaaankk you..

I'm embarrassed to go and shop in a health store?
I want to go to this natural health store in the city mall and buy things like stress relief and vitamin medications, however I am a very shy person and feel anxious about the whole thing. I'm 17 and paranoid the shopkeepers might think its weird for a youth to be buying those sorts of products, and paranoid I'll be seen by people I know such as from school who will ask me what I'm doing and tell other people. I have a secret in school, that is I'm gay, so I fear what I do will be earmarked by people as 'gay'.
So I need a way to force myself to go to the store surrounded by heaps of people of all ages who are "judging" me and when I'm in the shop, to not get anxious and be out of there without having looked around thoughtfully.
