How many mcg's of biotin is enough?
My mom told me her dermatologist recommended she take 2500 mcg, but the only place that sell's that amount is GNC. I work at a beauty and drug store and we have 5000 mcg biotin vitamins. Which one's are ok to take? I'm 25 years old.
Would is be safe for me to take two tablets daily of B-Complex?
Im taking Natures Bounty Super B-Complex with Folic Acid plus Vitamin C.
One tablet has:
Vitamin C - 180 mg
Thiamin - 100 mg
Riboflavin - 20 mg
Niacin - 25 mg
Vitamin B-6 - 5 mg
Folic Acid - 400 mcg
Vitamin B-12 - 30 mcg
Biotin - 45 mcg
Panthothenic Acid - 5.5 mg
Debittered Brewers Yeast - 100 mg
Will it be okay for me to take two tablets? Will anything bad happen? The reason I'm taking it is because I read these tablets promote hair growth.

Question about vitamin intake and natural antidepressants?
I currently take a B-Complex vitamin with Vitamin C, 200 mcg of Selenium, 100 mg of Omega 3 Fish Oil concentrate, and 200 mg of SAM-e. Do you think this is safe? I would ask a doctor but I don't have health insurance to cover a visit. If anyone knows from experience or is a doctor, your insight would be great and much appreciated.
Also, I have depression and anxiety which is why I am taking all of this.
What is the best multivitamin for young women?
I've been taking centrum (when I remember to) for a few months now for the folic acid that it has in it. I'm 21 but I think it's smart to start taking folic acid now for my future pregnancies and well being. I was just curious as to what vitamin would be the best for young women like myself? I've heard a lot about centrum as well as one-a-day but I'm not sure which one to stick to. What do you recommend?
The centrum that I take now (just the regular one) has 500 mcg of folic acid. Is that enough?
