Why are my prenatal vitamins making me sick?
I've been taking One Source prenatal vitamins for about two weeks now. I started my period a week early, but I have not taken a pregnancy test. My cousin that's a nurse told me you can still be pregnant even on your period. I'm currently looking for another job, but I've been at home lying down because I feel naseated all the time now. Could it be my prenatal vitamins or could I be pregnant? Please help me! Thanks in advance!
Is there a connection between my sleep habits and my blood pressure and headaches?
When I was in middle school, I used to get terrible headaches because I had to be at school at 7, and I couldn’t sleep until 1 AM. It kinda went away in high school when I had to be at 8, and completely went away in college when I went to school at 9. It all came back, I got a job where I got in at 7, after a year, I discover my blood pressure has really high, and the headaches became so unbearable, I had to quit. I got a job where I got in at 9AM, and I felt so good, I didn’t think twice before taking another job where I get in at 7. The headaches are back . No matter what I do, my body wants to sleep at 1 AM, even if I only slept 2 hours the day before, I just won’t be able to fall asleep until 1AM. I’ve tried going to bed at 8 or 9, and that only gets me to be there laying in bed for hours. I don’t think I have insomnia because I always sleep at 1AM, I just can’t do it before that.
When I wake up at 7 or 8, I feel so good, and my blood pressure doesn’t go up. I just can’t figure it out why am I like a clock, why can’t I sleep before 1AM, and why do I get these terrible headaches if I wake up before 8.
Is there a medical explanation for this?
Urgent help for my dry, splitting, hair?
I have black/white hair. It started breaking off badly and drying out but it was still about 5-6 inches down past my shoulders. About 2 and a half years ago, I went to the wrong hair dresser, asked for it to be thinned out and she did a hair wacking job I've ever seen. I came out with the length at the bottom of my neck. :( My hair has not grown back out past my shoulders since, because it has been getting more dry and breaking off horribly.
I use every kind of conditioners and leave in products, oils, creams for sale on the shelves of stores. Nothing seems to be working. I even take vitamins.
So, I figured theres nothing I can do, my hair looks a mess. I can either just put it up in this tiny messy, frizzy bun after I take a shower. Or I can spend about 2 hours trying to straighten it with a FHI straightener, even then its very dry looking and gets oily/still feeling after a day. My hair isn't all curly so I can't wear it naturally down. It's a poof/dry mess.
Any help?
I've also got these really short pieces along the front of my hair line around my face, this prevents me from being able to wear my hair with any kind of bang styling because their always sticking out every which direction, and these short pieces of hair are hard to straighten and end up not laying flat if I do try to straighten them.
If I can't wear it curly, then I want to be able to wear it straight but for it to look nicely and healthy while I'm trying to grow it out long again.
I've went to other hairdressers to have it trimmed at some point after the bad hairdresser wacked off all my hair, and their only advice to me was to just have to be careful with it and try to let it grow. So, they didn't really provide any good help because I still haven't seen any length. I know it's growing, it's just breaking off. People will say did you get a hair cut, and I didn't, it just breaks that badly.

What can I take temporarily to relieve stress?
Basically I am quitting my job to stay at home and am really excited. But I have two weeks left at work. I am a department manager and the stress is getting to me. Last night I was almost asleep then suddenly everything hit me at once and I could feel my heart pounding and the stress building. Today at work I had to keep telling myself that it's only two more weeks I can make it. Anyway I'm looking for anything preferably over the counter, vitamins, health store stuff etc. to get me through the next two weeks. We are also packing to move. We move the day after I finish work so anyway I'm stressed. Any ideas? Thanks.
