here is the problem, i have suddenly become aware how important vitamins are to our bodies, i used to take spectrum multi-vitamins, but have recently heard that multi-vitamins do not help, because they dont contain what you need. im an 18 year old and realisticly i dont have the time to eat healthy foods, so buying the right vitamins is crucial, i was just wondering if anyone has any advice on what different kinds vitamins i should get
i also heard omega-3 vitamins are crucial to boosting the motabulism? is this true? and what vitamins boost the motabulism?

Is it okay to take around 15 vitamins a day, being a teen?
I'm 15, almost 16. I am taking vitamins, since my daily nutrients aren't really getting met through healthy foods, and also it might help my complexion. I'm not taking any Vitamin A, as I already get enough of that. I'm taking the daily amount of: Vitamin C, B, D, fish oil, Enzyme, etc..Is this okay?
Can you be healthy by only eating junkfood and vitamins?
I was just wondering. I do not do this. I eat lots of healthy foods and such. I sometimes have vegitartian days where I only eat veggies. So back to the question, can you be healthy by just eating junkfood and vitamins?
fasting tips? i’ll pick a best answer :]?
'm planning on starting a fast in the morning to give myself a kickstart on my new lifestyle change.
What would be a good way to go about fasting? Juice fast, or water fast? Should I take supplements/vitamins, and if so, what kind?
It's not really to lose weight. (my bmi is 18) I'm just not eating very healthily (tons of carbs and fats). After the fast, I'm going to incorporate healthy foods into my diet.
Advice is very appreciated.
What Natural Vitamins & Minerals are people w/ ADD or ADHD Often Lacking?
I'm a 20-year-old w/ pretty severe AD-HD. I was in several accidents as a teen from inability to focus, until my dad allowed me to go on Adderall. Since I haven't been in one accident since I was 17.
I am on a pretty high dose of adderall now & have come to feel that a lot of my focusing troubles, which have been visible since childhood, have to do w/ a poor diet, lack of exercise and such.
I am trying to adopt a healthier lifestyle and I've begun taking Folic Acid, Magnesium, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin C, & Fish Oil every day, but are there any other vitamins or minerals that would be good to add? Ones that will help in Focusing.
I've also been eating all organic, lean healthy foods & exercising 4 - 5 days a week. I used to exercise before a bit too much, but not with a good diet. I also haven't had a soda in 4 months! :) I feel much better & actually feel terrible when I put junky unhealthy food in my body.
Also I haven't, but am planning on taking up meditation to develop focus.
I was wondering, as well, if there were any other techniques that would help develop focus.
Ideally I'd like to get off my adderall & have my own developed focus, or at LEAST get down from taking 50mgs of extended release each day.
