Blood pressure………..?
My blood pressure is 160/82, is this healthy? I just took my blood pressure medicine this morning, I have been feeling weird for the last half and hour so I checked it and thats what it was. Should I call the doctor?
I am 28 years old. My blood pressure used to be much higher when I was pregnant. It hasn't been this high in a while. Oh, yeah! I have a really bad headache and I never get headaches. i just wanted to know some other opinions before I over reacted. thaks!
What does it mean when Blood Pressure on the Left is significantly higher than on the right?
I have been monitoring my blood pressure, and it's been running around 160/100 on the left side, but is around 135/90 on the right. My resting heart rate is around 100 to 120. I feel no symptoms except for a slight headache and occasional lightheadedness. I am 46 and have a hx of high cholesterol and triglycerides.
Help with detox?
I'm eliminating processed foods and foods with preservatives/additives in them (for this week as I'm on uni-break). I started yesterday.
Included is plenty of fresh vegetables & fruit, a small lamb steak (for iron) at dinner time (with salad and 2tblsp maceroni with sundried tomato pesto), & for breakfast, oats or omelette (with tomato and avocado and very small amount of cheese) or 2 eggs (keeps me full).
I'm eating 6 small meals a day. I'm also eating at least 13-1400 calories a day (I'm wanting to lose weight too and it's right for my BMR, though I'm not overweight just want to lose a couple pounds) and drinking lots of water. In addition I'm supplementing myself with B12, B-complex and folic acid (naturopath recommended as I am vitamin B deficient)
Problem is, it's day 2 and I'm feeling a bit nauseous, with a bit of a headache or light head, and I'm going to bathroom a bit (no diarrhea, just more regularly). It's not the calories as been 1300 for awhile. Is this normal?
What happends when you eat too many vitamins?
i ate like 6 vitamins everyday for like 4 days, i think.
i was only supposed to eat 4 a day.
im have a really bad headache right now, do you think its cause i ate too many vitamins?
Have you taken multi-vitamin and it made you nauseous, did you find a brand that doesn't make you sick?
I've always had trouble taking a multi vitamin because it makes my tummy hurt like 10 minutes later and I get a headache. I need a brand for sensitive stomachs but I don't know where to start.
Why is Vitamin D giving me a headache?
I KNOW I don't get enough Vitamin D in my diet or lifestyle. I am a night-owl who hates the sun and spends very little time outdoors. I am a generally dour sort. I am sure my depression has at least something to do with my lack of Vitamin D. So recently I decided to start taking a supplement. I bought some 1000mg Vitamin D and took one a day for about 4 days. I had a BAD headache all of those days, but I also wasn't drinking coffee that week, so I chalked it up to caffeine withdrawal. But yesterday I took it again and I had a headache and slight fever. Today I took it again and now I have the same headache and slight fever. The only thing I can find on the internet anywhere is that you can get a headache if you OD on Vitamin D, but how can I possibly be ODing? My mom takes 5000mg, my Gma takes 2000mg. I'm only taking 1000mg, and I doubt I'm even getting it from anywhere else. So why on earth is it giving me a headache and fever? You'd think my body would be happy to finally get some.
:(
I should have mentioned, I didn't take Vitamin D for about 2 weeks between those first 4 days I mentioned, and then those last 2 and I didn't have a headache those 2 weeks. It was only when I re-introduced it that my headache came right back. I know it is the Vitamin D. I just don't know why.
