necessary vitamins???????
What are vitamins needed for hair loss? I've heard iron and folic acid but what else? Should I just take a multivitamin?
A good multivitamin that I can buy at a major retailer?
I am 15 years old and I think I may need some more iron, zinc, and other vitamins. My hair has been falling out easier and I have white spots on my fingernails. I've been to the doctor numerous times (except for the hair loss) since I am a complete hypochondriac and he always reassures me there is nothing wrong with me, even though I haven't been back since I started being able to pull out 1 or 2 strands of hair almost every time I run my fingers through it.
I know that eating a good diet is the best way to get vitamins and stuff, but that isn't always possible under my situation. I can't go to a "GNC" or whatever everyone else is talking about to get a good quality multivitamin so I would like to know if there are any ones that seem to work fairly well that I could buy from wal-mart or another major retailer. I have tried the equate one from wal-mart, but i've done some research and it apparently is not absorbed very well, so does anyone know of any better ones?

hair breakage??
Has anyone experienced hair breakage due to extensions? A litle over a year ago, I had heavy, glued in extensions removed from my hair. I was devestated at the sight of how thin and sparse it was. At the current time, I do not have any bald spots and hair so thin upon removal that a little pony tail holder was too big for- is now looking much fuller. What I am experiencing is the under layer of hair coming back and currently in very short pieces. I do my best to volumize my hair (use products such as big sexy hair, sebastian double body shampoo, nexxus thickening shampoo & conditioner, bed head,super star lotion) & I also take vitamins, have already seen a doctor who specializes in hair loss and has told me that he saw no real problem, that I was young and healthy and it should take about a year for it to get back to normal. (I got this info. over the summer) My question is, has anyone experienced something similar concerning hairloss and what did you do? Advice?Products? What did u do

Do NOT give me advice about where to find extensions. That's the last thing I would do again in my life.
