How Do I Make My Hair Grow Faster? DESPERATE, TOP PRIORITY!!!?
I am DESPERATE to have my hair back! I used to have long, dark brown curly hair that I loved and it was to me what a mane is to a lion. It was my confidence and pride! Then, some trailer trash guy with a dirty nasty mohawk ran up to me and touched my hair. I thought that was rude, and gross. I shrugged it off. 2 weeks later, I pulled a louse out of my hair and had to cut it all off to make it easier to get rid of them!! They're gone, but now I'm left with just a short, small coating of hair. I really want it back! Please help me somebody! If it helps, I'm overweight (not just a little, it's caused me to have hypertension and stretch marks), smack in the middle of puberty, half irish and half scottish, with extremely curly dark brown hair that has plenty of natural grease. I don't wash it too much, once every other day. Now that my hair is gone, I've lost half of my confidence and feel fat and short. Due to the kind of music and culture I'm interested in, long hair is important to me. If it isn't already obvious, I am male. Please any help that I can get! I don't mind vitamins, as long as they are sold at non-specialty stores and not very expensive. Seriously, I'm going crazy and I've been pretty depressed. This may seem like a minor issue to you all, but it was the only part of my being that I was proud of. To me, it was like an olympic sprinter having his legs taken off for no reason, or like the last elephant in the world shot just because someone wanted to try their new elephant gun. Don't post just to call me crazy, or say I need to get over it. That's not what I'm here for, I need answers, solutions to this dire problem.
Is Castor Oil Bad for Natural Hair?
I am black and I will BC in a few weeks. I know that petrolatum/petroleum products as well as products that contain mineral oil are bad for your hair, but what about castor oil?
I bought a grease and here are the listed ingredients: castor oil, mink oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E, jojoba oil, parrafin oil, safflower oil, cocoa butter, propylparaben, fragrance.
Is that ok to use? Any suggestions on what I should be using to keep my hair moisturized
Lemon Essential Oil – Young Living Essential Oils
Kenneth Gardner explains how you can use your therapeutic grade Young Living Lemon essential oil, which is one of the 9 "Everyday Oils". www.KennethGardner.com I'm Kenneth Gardner, and I've been using the Young Living products, and I love what they do for me. Believe it or not, I am almost 50 years old, and the thing I love about the Young Living essential oils is the physical and emotional benefits that they provide. Today, what I'd like to talk to you about is the Lemon essential oil, how I use it and many other ways that you can use it. Lemon essential oil is known to be a powerful antioxidant and immune stimulant, and you can get those benefits simply by adding it to your water, and that will flavor the water and give you those benefits. Another way you could take it internally is by putting some in a capsule from Young Living. You could put a few drops in a capsule, playing with the amount, and simply swallow it. Lemon essential oil is not the same as lemon juice. Lemon oil is made from the rind. Nevertheless, it could be used in cooking for seasoning and for flavoring in baking. You could put it in other beverages and even make your own lemonade with a few drops of lemon oil plus water and sweetener, playing with the amounts. There's a trick with Lemon essential oil to extend the shelf life of your fruits, and that is to wash your fruit and then dunk them in a bowl of water that has drops of lemon oil in it. Lemon essential oil would be good to diffuse in your ...
