Im not going to ask if that makes my hair grow faster because i know it prob. doesn't but my hair fell out A LOT about 2 summers ago and i lost about 8 inches of hair and i used 2 have really pretty hair! But anyways what are some methods for helping my hair grow down my back? Even if it takes forever. Please please please please please help me. Im moving soon and i really want 2 have a clean slate and be popular at my new school. So any help is appreciated... Weight Loss Before And After Pics

Hi everyone! I've recently lost 80lbs and I'm still going. I'm posting this video of my before and after pics in hopes that it will inspire others to lose weight and feel better about themselves. I still have 40 pounds to go but my life has changed dramatically for the better already. Losing weight is always hard and diets suck. I finally found a diet that works for me and is easy to stick to and it immediately started to change my life. Now I'm getting thin and happy. I have a better life now. I think it's important to pick a diet that works for YOU, because if you don't stick with it you won't lose weight anyway. I love food. I'm totally addicted to food, lol. So many people like me have a food addiction or are emotional eaters. Emotional eating is a hard habit to break. I'm not sure it is even possible to break but you can still lose weight through diet and exercise even before ending emotional eating. I don't like counting calories for weight loss. It's too hard. I'm happy on the diet I'm on because I don't count calories and exercise is optional. I do like to exercise though so it's not a issue. However, some days I don't want to exercise so I don't and I still lose weight. My weight loss is coming pretty easy because I'm on a diet I can stick with. Sometimes my emotional eating and food addiction still gets the best of me but I just get back on my diet again the next day. Soon I'll be at my goal weight and that is going to feel incredible! I really hope to inspire ...

Loose skin..and massive weight loss?

See, over a years time so far I've lost 100 pounds. I still have 100 more to go before I'm at my goal weight. Which is reasonable, don't worry. :P
I have lost it slowly though, 10 pounds a month. Or even 8 pounds a month. I am still young. (18). I lotion my skin every day.. drink plenty of water.. and I take vitamins so that I know I'm getting them. I also make sure I eat my meat and drink milk to get protein and calcium.

But I'm noticing that my skin looks like it MIGHT be saggy once I'm done. It's a little wrinkly. If I stretch out the parts that seem that way, they do go back into place.. but they take longer than they should. Comparing to the back of my hand n' such, which snaps right back.

I don't know.. should I be worried about it?
Oh, and I also drink lots of water. Water, juice, and milk are the only things I even like. :P

Seeking Tips for Weight Loss Maintenance…?

I've been on a diet or as I would like to call a lifestyle transformation plan for the past four and a half months.
My initial weight was 183.5 pounds ( I'm 5'4) on October 11th, 2008 and I am now down to 141.5 pounds.
My goal weight is 135 pounds.

I started out with 37.5% body fat and I'm now down to 23.5% body fat.
Also, I was a size 44 in pants and now I am a size 38. I already donated all of my jeans and skirts so I would never have anything to go back to :)

I am on a strict diet regiment ( I've been keeping a food journal for the past four and half months, never consuming more than 1,220 calories a day). Additionally, I have a personal trainer with whom I do strength training twice a week and engage in 1 hour cardio workouts 5-6 times a week. Lastly, I used acupuncture to control my appetite.

I plan a weekly menu to witch I stick to, and while I eat dark chocolate 3-4 times a week, I mostly consume whole grains, fresh vegetables and a lot of lean protein. I eat 5-6 small meals a day, with breakfast and lunch being the largest meals ( though never going over 370 calories). I am also taking vitamins, and get preform monthly blood work in order to ensure that my body is not missing any essential vitamins.

I have almost reached my weight goal and I would like to get some useful tips on how to add calories to my daily menu without gaining weight. I am under strict supervision of a licensed dietitian that has approved my weekly menus, but I am still afraid to go over my daily 1,200 calorie intake.

Here is a sample of my daily menu:

Breakfast:
A cup of Fiber 1: 140 calories
Coffee with 1/3 of skim milk: 45 calories
Nonfat yogurt: 54 calories
Tot: 239 calories

Snack:
A large red apple: 120 calories
Coffee with 1% milk: 51 calories
Nonfat Activia yogurt: 51 calories
Tot: 222 calories

Snack:
Two cucumbers: 24 calories
A piece of light bread: 34 calories
Tot: 58 calories

Lunch:
Tomato+cucumber+ whole red pepper+ green beans+ 2 tsps of black pepper+ 2 tbs of salsa+ 1/2 cup of sliced carrots= 176 calories
11 pieces of light pastrami ( small slices)= 98 calories
Light instant soup= 60 calories
A piece of light bread= 34 calories
Tot: 368 calories

Snack:
Granola bar= 92 calories
Chai with 1/3 of a cup of skim milk= 40 calories
Tot: 132 calories

Dinner:
Two pieces of light bread= 68 calories
Two table spoons of nonfat cottage cheese= 24 calories
Cucumber: 12 calories
Tsp of pepper: 5 calories
Sugar-free apple sauce: 60 calories
Pecan: 13 calories
Tot: 182 calories

Tot calories for the day: 1,200

- I must add that I feel full and energized, but the only downfall is that my period is late and I have contacted a healthcare professional about this and she preformed all the neccesry tests on me, and though my test results were fine, my period is already almost a week late and that is causing me to be a little bit concerned.

Thank you for your support!

Nutritional supplements that assist with weight loss?

I am 5'2" and currently 172 pounds with a decently muscular build (under all the excess weight, that is...). My goal weight to get within the normal BMI range where I would be healthy is 136 pounds. I am not looking for any "quick fixes," so please don't bother recommending the pink patch, things like that. I have a diet and exercise plan worked out. What I am looking for is any suggestions - backed by research and/or experience - for vitamin or nutritional supplements that might assist me in the endeavor.

I know I'm going to have to work at it, and I've heard of supplements that will increase your metabolism and things like that as long as you're already changing your diet and exercise behaviors. Do any of these work? Are there any safe and all-natural appetite suppressants that could help with my cravings (I have a terrible sweet tooth)? I'm willing to try anything as long as it's safe and not putting my body in danger. Thanks!

at a gastric bypass plateau on weight loss help!!!?

I had my bypass 10 months ago next week... I am at a weight loss standstill and am having cravings and finding it hard to fight the snack feeling but I am not hungry and it is making me sick! I have lost 157 lbs since last January and 127 since 10 months ago... I have 50-60 more to go before I am at my ideal goal weight... I am having problems with remembering to take my vitamins hence lack of energy and motivation to function is setting in and im getting dizzy quite often...If anyone has suggestions on this that has had the bypass I would appreciate your input! anyone who is not familiar or thinks they have just a great idea or a sarcastic comment please refrain from even typing... thank you
again please anyone with a positive answer on this is what I need right now not advertisements for something stupid. I had my bypass because of medical reasons and by far it was not! an easy way out and this has been one of the most difficult things in my life! The amount of things we go through to be sure we are ready for this surgery and to be sure hat we are not doing it as an easy out... People who treat it as such it can kill them so if you don't know what you are talking about please refrain from responding... Anyone who can help with this question I thank you in advance...

Dramatic Weight loss question?

Well I am 6 ft and 15, and I weight 290 lbs... I look pretty big to be honest but my goal weight is 160. Do you think that if i lose this much, seeing that I am extremely big boned, I will look too skinny? Also this is what I plan to do..
-No sugar
-2 hrs of hardcore weight loss bicycle
-No coffee/ unhealthy foods
-lots of vitamins
I plan to do 1 hour when i wake up at 4 am before school, eat 2 eggs, vitamins, and of course shower.
Then I will go and when I come home do an hour with a great dinner that is healthy. I plan to do this until I am 160 and then, slowly add carbs back while working out (because i suspect skin will be hanging from me like crazy). Also any sugestions on drinks and such? I need to lose this quick, and also in the summer I plan to do like 4 hours a day, because before 10th grade I want to be skinny/ ready to work out for my protective services class.
Also I have horrible migraines that are ONLY visual so.. I hope that cleansing my body will give me back most of the taken away vision.. (it is recurring, sometimes the vision is gone for a month, little parts of course)
I am 6 feet and 290 pounds, got a mustache I am sure that I will not have any stunted growth.. haha but still, I REALLY can do this because when I am set, I got it... nothing like food is going to make my life crap.

Weight and weight loss?

I am 13 years old and as far as my doctor says I have stopped growing, dont ask why. I am 5'3" and I currently weigh 115lbs.
I lose about 5lbs a week, Without trying very hard. I have dropped 3 pant sizes and 15 lbs in 3 weeks. Is this healthy or normal? My goal weight is 105. I don't drink pop and only use splenda as sweetener. I eat healthy. Oil and fried things dont appeal to me anymore. I also take a daily womens multi vitamin, fish oil and cinnamon.
