What numbers represent low blood pressure?

I'm unsually tired this morning. I do take blood pressure medication daily for the 9 mo. This morning checking my blood pressure at home it read 106/58, and pulse was 56. I began using flaxseed two weeks ago. I know it has many health benefits, including for blood pressure. Is this number a normal number, or low? I intend to monitor it for a few days, but do not know what represents a low enough number to call my doctor.
I am 53 yrs of age.

How much of an effect does stress have on your blood pressure?

I am 33 and in very good health.
I workout and eat right.
My blood pressure has always been on the low side.
I have just been through a very stressful time in my life and all of a sudden my blood pressure has gone up to between 135 over 92 to 148 over 109 / I have checked it at different times over the past few days after having a nurse tell me it was to high durring a life insurance exam. Can stress do this?

Pain in my leg joints & bones.?

I was having weakness in one knee (felt like it was going to give out when I walked and numbness on the upper side on my back (also left side). I had an MRI of my back and brain (fearing MS). My back was fine but my brain showed a spot on the right side but the neurolist said it was most likely a scare and didn't think it was anything to worry about. He did test my Vitamin D levels and it was low so I was put on supplements. The symptom went away so I stopped (I hate taking pills) and it came back within a few days. I've been going through cycles of taking it (and other vitamins) and not. Over the past 5 weeks, I noticed throbbing pain in my other leg. It started in my ankle and hip and I felt it when I was sitting. The pain has now involved my knee and shin and the numbness in my back has returned. I have a job where I mostly sit so it's getting painful to work now and for the past two days, laying on my side has been painful and actually has been interfering with sleep.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Do you think it's the vitamin D or something else?
If it's the vitamin D, why do the symptoms come back when I stop taking it? I now drink milk (which I didn't before when all this started) so I'm wondering if I'm able to store vitamin D or if something is causing me to lose it? I know a thyroid problem can cause problems with vitamin D but my thyroid test came back normal last fall.
I still young but I feel miserable.

navel piercing aftercare?

I've just got my navel pierced today and I need to clear a few questions

1. How similar/different is sea salt and saline? Which is better?

2. I bought 10ml bottles of 0.9% sodium chloride (saline) for injection version from B Braun. Is it suitable for cleaning the piercing? If no, please give other suggestions.

3. Some websites say clean once a day, others say twice. So how to I go about it for the initial few days and after that?

4. Zinc and some vitamins are said to speed the healing process. So how much of it should I take (regarding the dosage eg. - ?mg / day) and which vitamin help?

5. Any fruits that provide the requirements above in point 4? and will taking supplements be just as good if I'm unable to find those fruits?

6. My piercing doesn't leave much space for swelling. Do navel piercings usually swell a lot and will there be a problem with this if I take care of it properly?

I'm in Singapore so certain items may not be sold here.

Thanks in advance!

can your period raise/lower blood sugar ?

i am 24. i just found out im type 2 last Feb. i was on the depo shot for 8 years. i didn't get a period when i was on it. i stopped my injections right around the time i found out i was diabetic. the last couple months ive been slowly getting my period back. spotting and cramps for a couple days. but ive noticed that my blood sugar is all over the place. i feel like im low all the time. but when i eat, it jumps around like crazy. is this normal? i know it may sound like a stupid question. but i haven't had a period in 8 years. and i just found out im diabetic less then a year ago. just during those few days when its that time of the month i feel like crap. hot then cold.. headaches.. sick to my stomach.. i cant tell if its my period or diabetes symptoms.

i eat right.. take my meds like im told.. my last a1c was good. 5.5.. i havent been to a doctor recently to ask questions about it. i stopped the birthcontrol hoping to get pregnant eventually. but no hurry. im taking vitamins with iron and folic acid. so no other problems.

I am currently suffering from GERD. Would taking vitamin C pills be better for me than drinking OJ?

I am currently taking prilosec for my condition and wanted to avoid a lot of citrus-like fruits for at least a few days. However, I wanted to get my vitamin C each day.
