How long will a fat soluble vitamin be in my system?
I took high doses of vitamin d3(health reasons). My level reached 118, which is about 50 points higher than recommended. I have stopped dosing all together for now, and plan on doing so until my level drops. I have noticed some side effects that are clearly due to the high level(no appetite, no energy, very low libido, etc.). When dosing with D3, you can expect your level to raise 10 points per 1000iu taken for 2 months. So if you have a level of 50, take 5000iu for 2 months, you can expect your level to be around 100. How long is it stored in the body? Is there any way to speed up the process? Since it is stored in fat cells, would physical activity break the fat down faster?
Slightly Overweight, Overweight or Obese? What Can I do

Because Vitamin D is "Fat Soluble" does this mean that I do not need to take it every day?
...because it will be stored in my fat cells right? So basically it will be stored in there for days where there is no sunlight for example? ALSO.. Does this mean that if i take it daily it could be toxic like vitamin A ?
How long does it take to recover from chronic vitamin a toxicity?
I've read that it takes 200-300 days for the body to remove the excess accumulation of vitamin a in the liver, bloodstream, and fat cells. Is this true? My main symptoms include skin dryness/buildup, minimal hair loss, fatigue, and back pain. I've been off any and all vitamins for 180 days now.
(I took around 15,000 iu's of retinol for 1 1/2 years)
