Is it me or my multi-vitamin?

I used to take a multivitamin everyday in the morning like clockwork. After some stressful experiences (which I'm still dealing with) in the past year, I find that if I have the same brand of No-name multivitamin in the morning, I get really queasy and want to hurl. This feeling doesn't go away until about Noon.

Even if I have breakfast, then the same thing happens. So I have been taking them at dinner and I don't have any probs. But during dinner time, I tend to forget to take them.
1) Is it my system?
2) Should I change up to brand name multivitamins?
3) Will this all change when the stressful stuff is over?
4) Is this ulcer or acid reflux related?

Please avoid suggesting I go to some health food store because I find their stuff SO expensive.

Help with detox?

I'm eliminating processed foods and foods with preservatives/additives in them (for this week as I'm on uni-break). I started yesterday.

Included is plenty of fresh vegetables & fruit, a small lamb steak (for iron) at dinner time (with salad and 2tblsp maceroni with sundried tomato pesto), & for breakfast, oats or omelette (with tomato and avocado and very small amount of cheese) or 2 eggs (keeps me full).

I'm eating 6 small meals a day. I'm also eating at least 13-1400 calories a day (I'm wanting to lose weight too and it's right for my BMR, though I'm not overweight just want to lose a couple pounds) and drinking lots of water. In addition I'm supplementing myself with B12, B-complex and folic acid (naturopath recommended as I am vitamin B deficient)

Problem is, it's day 2 and I'm feeling a bit nauseous, with a bit of a headache or light head, and I'm going to bathroom a bit (no diarrhea, just more regularly). It's not the calories as been 1300 for awhile. Is this normal?

Vitamins make my stomach sick?

I'm 22 years old. Ever since I graduated from flinstone chewables, my stomach has always been sick from vitamins! No matter what brand of multi vitamin I buy, or what 'special type' (For women, etc..)... it always upsets my stomach.

I've tried taking the vitamin in the morning after a meal (becuase I know some vitamins need water to break down and others need fat)...I've tried taking them before the meal, I've tried this at lunch time and as well as at dinner time... No matter when I take it - what time of day or before/after a meal...it makes my stomach sick.

I have younger siblings (7, 8, and 9 years old) and last year for christmas I put Scooby Doo gummy vitamins in their stockings... I also bought a bottle for myself(forgot what brand, a popular multi vitamin brand)... These vitamins do NOT hurt my stomach at all! I can take them at any time of day and I'm completely fine.

It says for children over 12&adults chew 2 gummies a day.
Do you think that I'm still getting nutrients from these gummies? Or am i wasting my money?

***ALSO, calcium especially makes my stomach sick. All calcium supplements that I've tried. If I'm drinking and eating food with fortified calcium, am I okay in that department? I do not like milk but I buy calcium fortified orange juice and bread and pasta, and I eat yogurt almost every day. Do I need an additional suppliment?

How can I minimize stomach aches from taking multi-vitamins?

I started taking Men's One-A-Day multi-vitamins.

I usually take them at dinner time and sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with a terrible stomach ache and diarrhea. I guess its from indigestion or something.

I've tried taking them before eating, during eating, after eating, and there is no sure way to avoid it. Any suggestions please? Is it okay to maybe grind them up or break em in half.
